the preposition here, ek, "from out, out from among, from, suggesting from the interior outwards. A primary preposition denoting origin, from, out."
So, in other words, guard you thoroughly throughout, i.e. because you have guarded the word of my perseverance, I will also guard you thoroughly throughout the hour that shall come upon all the world (all that are upon the earth, including you).

Hence the commandments; Fear not! only believe! in My Salvation!

I agree with this. Noah wasn't taken out of the flood, but protected through it. He of course had to obey God in preparation for it. He and his family (and all the animals) would have died too if they didn't believe God and didn't build the ark as He instructed. Not saying we should all be preppers, but God said definitely to armor up our faith and endure to the end.

Also, since the Bible says that:

Revelation 13:7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.

I think this is why every Pre-Tribber is in active denial of the truth that the Lord will return AFTER the tribulation. The idea of being persecuted and killed is too horrible for them to face and instead of turning to God for strength, wisdom and endurance through the Holy Spirit, they're just burying their heads in the sand through the false Pre-Trib teaching.

This will leave them unprepared. This will also contribute to the great falling away (apostasy), where many of them will betray the faithful saints just to try to save their own skins. They will regret it though because God is very faithful to His faithful ones and will punish those who betray them - especially if they called themselves believers.

Well these guys will be rapture before the tribulation.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. - Rev 3:10-11
God, also shortens the days for the Elect.
Why the need for shorten days for the Christian if you are going buhbye in the Rapture?

Friend, I must tell you, that it is these kinds of unscholarly inputs from the post-tribbers that have aide and abetted every pre-tribber on this board. Time and time again.

Pre-tribbers have prevailed victorious on every one of these threads. Resoundingly. Really, it wasn't even close.

The problems:

1. Obviously, it's only said about 1/7 of the churches so that isn't a pre-trib rapture of the whole church.

Except... each of the seven letters concludes with:

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches" (not "unto this church" [the individual one addressed in that particular "letter"... No.])

None of you have really prevailed at all though because the rapture hasn't occurred yet. :)

But we at least know you're not preparing yourselves so the rest of us know not to trust you when the AC shows up and we're all still here.

Seriously, if we're being Rapture'd, why do we need Shorter Days?
no one can answer this because it discriminates their position on the "Rapture."

But there is a Reason God is shortening the DAYS for the Christian during the Tribulation. And it ""DOES"" directly relate to the Rapture itself. That Reason, for why God shortening the days for the Christian during the Tribulation, is, the Rapture happens at the Second Coming and everything we're promised happens literally within the Twinkling of an Eye [a person can blink 7 times per one second] [a Twinkling would be faster than one single blink, which is faster by 700% than one second].

More so than the Second Coming, if I were going to adhere to the Rapture before Return of Christ, knowing Days are Shortened, would be Rapture'd at Pre-Wrath. Pre-Wrath, also describes the situation why God would shorten the Days for Christians. but, Pre-Wrath, is well past Mid-Point of Tribulation.

which fits the Narrative to both Lot and Noah better.

Pre-tribbers (I am one) do not "deny" that Jesus will "return" AFTER the tribulation.

In fact, the TWO times that the word "RETURN" is used in the gospels (re: Jesus), it says,

--"when he will RETURN from the wedding" ... THEN "the meal [G347--i.e. the MK age; G347 used also in Matt8:11 and parallel re: the MK age]" - Lk12:36,37-38,40,42-44 (note its parallel passage in Matt24:42-51);

--and "RETURN" in Lk19:12,15,17,19... when He will deal out responsibilities, having to do with "have thou authority over 10 cities"... and "likewise be thou over 5 cities"--note that "cities" are on the earth (note also its parallel passage in Matt25:14-30);

Pre-tribbers absolutely believe He will "RETURN" to the earth AFTER the Trib!! (Rev19; and Matt24:29-31 parallel to Isaiah 27:9,12-13 [/Dan9:24 and Rom11:26-27...]; and Matt25:31-34 and context... etc etc...).

It's just that we believe He will "RETURN" as an ALREADY-WED "Bridegroom" ( ^ ), and returning "WITH [G4862 - UNIONed-with]" His "bride / wife [singular]"! (that's US!)

By "WE" do you mean, "the Church which is His body," or...

Well, let me put it like this (besides what I just put in my previous post [plz see that post too!], which will also help explain what I'm putting here in this one!)...

the "you / ye" in Matthew 24 is a consistent "you / ye"... and a "proleptic 'you / ye'"... "proleptic," meaning (basically), all those in the future OF THE SAME CATEGORY. And in THAT CONTEXT, Jesus is speaking to those TO WHOM "the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom" WAS PROMISED. (That is, to believing / faithful ISRAEL... those from the nation of Israel).

[EVERYTHING from Matthew 24:4 onward [for 2 chpts] speaks of that which FOLLOWS "our Rapture"; Our rapture is NOT the Subject Jesus is covering ANYWHERE in His Olivet Discourse.]

It really doesn't matter what Pre-Tribbers believe - you will not be ready when the AC shows up.

We’ll, you’re right in that it doesn’t really matter.
When the man of lawlessness is revealed (the AC), we will either be raptured or in most cases beheaded.

So it’s kinda important to see that his beast world system is almost totally complete.

I think a lot of amils are going to be shocked and confused as his time approaches, and they thought it was all either allegory or already fulfilled.

We, the body of Christ do not need shortened days. God's physical people Israel, however, will need those days to be shortened because of how terrible they will be. No flesh would be saved unless those days be shortened.

It IS important to prepare ourselves for the eventuality of persecution and death at the hands of the AC. This is why I've allowed God to help me not to be afraid to die and so should everyone else. Also to not worry about provision when we are no longer allowed to buy and sell because of refusing the mark of the beast. God will somehow provide for us until He returns or we die and our souls go to Him. That takes a lot of faith and endurance and only through the Holy Spirit can we do all that.

God is already at work in me. He has been putting me through tough situations. At first I though He was angry at me for something I did, but He corrected my thinking. He is allowing all these awful things to happen to me so that I can exercise my faith in Him to help me through them!

So I say, come to the Lord Jesus, Pre-Tribbers, and let Him prepare you for the GT so that you will endure and remain with Him and not fall away when the AC comes and you're still here.

May I ask you, what do you believe Paul could possibly have meant when he said...

"... who died for us, that WHETHER WE MAY WATCH [*G1127] *OR* WHETHER WE MAY SLEEP [*G2518], we should live together with [G4862 - UNIONed-with] Him"

"watch [G1127]" and "sleep [G2518]" being the SAME WORDS and SAME MEANINGS as used in verse 6... see verse 6, below, and COMPARE how these two words are used in this SAME CONTEXT:

-- vs. 10 - Who G3588 died G599 for G5228 us G2257 that G2443 whether G1535 we wake / watch G1127 or G1535 sleep G2518 we should live G2198 together G260 with G4862 him. G846 ; as compared with...

--v.6, just a few verses back (SAME WORDS and SAME MEANINGS, per CONTEXT) - Therefore G686 G3767 let us G2518not G3361 sleep G2518 as G5613 G2532 do others; G3062 but G235 let us watch G1127 and G2532 be sober. G3525

[distinct "SLEEP" word from that used 3x in the PREVIOUS chpt (chpt 4), which spoke of the "death" of the believer]

Now, HOW can Paul SAY such a thing?!

"...that WHETHER WE MAY WATCH *OR* WHETHER WE MAY SLEEP [same definition as in verse 6, here!!], we should live together WITH / UNIONed-with HIM!"

Sure, but it is THEY who will be DOING the 'INVITING" (to the earthly MK age, aka "the wedding FEAST / SUPPER")

[they are also "the least of these My brethren" in Matt25:40,45, who are NOT the ones BEING "judged / separated" in the Sheep and goats judgment of the nationS in that passage; but the ones that those of the nations either themselves "BLESSED" [aided], or did NOT, during those future, specific Trib yrs]
