Rev. 14:15 Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

Well, couldn't this be the rapture/resurrection ??

I see a connection between this and Jesus' explanation of the parable of the weeds in Matthew 13:36-43:

36 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”

37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

Yes.. It may well be a symbolic representation of the Rapture harvest..

There are two with sickles that reaped in that chapter.. The one the cloud and the second one who's sickle reaped clusters of the vine to be thrown into the great winepress of the wrath of God.. I think people might be getting the two mixed up.. Or thinking they are the same..

(Revelation 14:17-19) "And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. {18} And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. {19} And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God."

So two different reapings..

Not at all. And there is no need for a "symbolic" representation of the Rapture. So have have just added to the confusion.

I also see two different reapings--Same is true with the wording Apostle Peter used at Pentecost. The prophet Joel said Great and Terrible and Peter said Great and Glorious. One for the righteous and one for the unrighteous.

Most of the Book of Revelation uses symbolism to give prophecy of end times events..

Well the first reaping in the chapter was just a reaping but in the second reaping the fruit ended up being crushed in the wine press of Gods wrath.. So the destiny of the two different groups was dramatically different..

Absolutely, wheat taken to the barn and the weeds enter the vial or bowl judgements. Just as in Matthew 13 parable of the weeds

Is not the Day of the Lord the Day we seek? Is not the Day of the Lord the Day He is coming for us? And he can't come at least till the antichrist takes his seat in Temple of God and that is inside the Tribulation.

2 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Revelation has nothing to say about the Rapture.
For those who sit in great darkness.

6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time.

THE RESTRAINER is the CHURCH in 2 Thess 2

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by his appearing and his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one by the activity of Satan will be with all power and with pretended signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are to perish, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false, 12 so that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Rev 15 (following chapter) seems to indicate that this happens just before the Vial Judgements (Mid-Trib), but another reaping-type incident also happens at His Second Coming...

Revelation 19:21
“And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”

Rapture only involves Saints, but Rev 14 seems to involve two reapings; one of saints and one of sinners...

Rev 14:
13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
14And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Note the "he also" of v. 17, implying that there were two sickle wielding angels and two readings.

For all this scripture about the church being a bride, the the church being the woman to Christ the man, and the Lord being the husband to the church suddenly, in 2 Thessalonians, the church is a man ("he")?

Nah. The restrainer is the Spirit of God. We are already experiencing His withdrawal of restraint upon men and lawlessness increases every day.

“And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭13:26-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.”

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

First he gathers his people then his wrath is poured out

And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭14:14-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.”
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:7-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

revelation is a series of short visions that repeat the story and not a single linear vision that tells one ordered story

“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭6:12-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is happening in ch 6 also on chapter eleven

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭11:15, 17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In chapter 14

“saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭14:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This part is showing the ultimate result of the events we’ve been reading through the book

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20:11-

Its series of visions many times they are talking about the same events like Jesus return and gathering his people

Poor choice of words by the translater-He should be "one" IMO

For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work: only there is one that restraineth now, until he be taken out of the way. ASV
The plan to make people wrong has already begun to work. But someone is holding back that plan. He will stop the law-breaker for a time. WE

For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. NLT

I just consider it foolish to consider the Spirit is removed for the Spirit has been with us since the beginning.

The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters. Gen 1:2

No. The translation is correct.
Also, the Spirit is not removed. He simply stops restraining the lawless.

If I may: lawlessness is not a condition without laws: It's not as if natural laws cease (gravity, light, etc.). Lawlessness, as it relates to people, is when "..everyone does what is right in his own eyes." The United States was and is a breeding ground for this mindset: promoting the individual's "rights" above those of the whole, and, establishing the people as sovereign over the nation.

Today, without restraint from the Spirit, the world is attempting to redefine long-held truths about biology and the very nature of humans; Speech is labeled "violence" and violence is now ensconced as a tool for advancement especially among the ruling class. The church, once believing themselves to be the light of the world, now supports serial fornicators and brutish men for the sake of political expediency. Sure, all this is not new, but the scope of it has not circled the globe.

The Spirit has moved out of the way. We are witnessing the slouch toward Gomorrah.
