If the Lord allowed the people of Israel to build a literal temple on Mt. Moriah, they would return to animal sacrifices.
The antichrist will be a jew from the tribe of Dan and leap from Bashan and the temple will be rebuilt at the blessing of the antichrist
Isaiah tells us the antichrist will be an Assyrian, Isaiah 10:5.

If the Lord allowed the Jews to build a temple today on his holy mountain, they would return to animal sacrifices. The LORD will not allow that. What he has allowed is Islam's Dome of the Rock, a temple or shrine an Assyrian antichrist would sit in, and would claim was the temple of God.

OK, I respect your thinking. But I'm not sure what verses support that thought?????????

I consider the possibility that the Mosque and the jewish temple is standing on same platform
They won't be. The Jews are left behind will be doing one of two things, they will be worshipping the image of the beast, or having their heads cut off if they refuse.

Actually the dome of the rock sits inside the old fortress Antonia, And is not, as generally thought, the holy place.

that was found a few years ago south and lower than the dome. In the old city.

@VCO has a great thread concerning this here third-temple-news in which I learned alot about this. I know it is a huge thread. but well worth the read if you get a chance. Sadly alot of the videos are no longer tagged. But there is some good stuff in there

Other than that. Amen.. The man of sin will stand in the holy place. and the world will see (TV news)
The Lord destroyed the second temple he will not allow a third temple to be built by the Jews. "He said to them, "Your house has been left to you desolate." That has not been rescinded. Tell me, do you really believe in the environment Israel finds itself in today that the Islamic nations would allow Israel to build a third temple on their holiest site? Iran, Sudan, Ethiopia, Libia, Syria and other Islamic nations would join forces and destroy the Jews. The Jews had the opportunity to take Mt. Moriah I believe it was in the 1967 wars. It was the Lord who prevented them from doing so, it's not going to happen!

The Dome is an abomination that has been set up, exactly 1290 years after the "Daily sacrifice was taken away." Key point, "When was the daily sacrifice taken away. It was in 598 B.C., see 2 Chronicles 36:5.

Hosea 6:2 tells us it will be two days (2000 years) from the time the Lord returned to his place in heaven, see Hosea 5:15. In 27 A.D. while with his disciples on the Mt. of Olives Jesus was taken up into heaven. Two thousand years later, October 2027.

Peter tells us a day with the Lord is as a thousand years. Two days = 2000 years.

So, the year 692 when the Dome was finished, plus 1335 years, brings us to the year 2027, exactly 2000 years from Jesus' baptism in 27 A.D.

David purchased the land for the house of the Lord during the Philistine wars, around 973 B.C., 3000 years ago. 973 + 3000 year = 2027.

Chronologist like Ussher, Lightfoot and Hales date the fall in October of 4004 B.C. Christ brought 30 years of peace and good with him. That peace ended at his baptism. God's curse on mankind will end in October of 2027, exactly 6030 years from Adam's eviction from the garden.

Israel became a nation in May of 1948. The average life of a Jew today is 82.5 years. We are told, the generation of 1948 is not going to pass away until all the events Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24, are finished. That would take us to the Passover in April of 2031, exactly 3 1/2 years after October of 2027.

Artaxerxes decree in 457 B.C. plus 483 of the 490 years takes us to 27 A.D.
Too much evidence. My timelines are correct.

God is not going to stop them from making a temple..

In fact. If they do not rebuild a temple. Prophecy can not be fulfilled.. so then God would be deemed a liar

Can you point out the scriptures you're looking at that say the Jews will build a third temple. Give me a few details behind your thinking.

How can their be an abomination of desolation if their is not a temple?

How can this AOD cause sacrifices to cease in the temple. if there is no temple.

Why do you always think that the abominable desolation is about the future? Were not the scribes and Pharisees an abominable desolation when Jesus Christ was there?

Jesus said to commemorate the woman who anointed him.The anointed one means the king of Israel.People present at that time and those who were not present didn't realize the meaning of this ceremony. Isn't it an abominable desolation?

An abomination of desolation is by defenition an idle or unclean thing in the holy place rendering it unclean.

10-22-27, I can tell you have a long way to go on your journey.
Sir, I look to the future and what lies ahead, not what's already past. The abomination of desolation has already been set up, the year, 692 A.D., and is standing at this moment at the top of Mt. Moriah.

We are in the end times; Israel's greatest enemy today is Islam. Their shrine: the Dome of the Rock is now standing on the LORD's Holy Place. That's fact, not fiction. Look around, the Middle East is ready to explode into an Atomic War. A generation born in 1948 is now 76 years old. Many have passed away, some still remain.

You made the statement, the verse should say, "the abomination that causes desolation."

That's one of the problems with most people who study end time prophecy, if it doesn't fit, it's the scripture that wrong. Another example of error that I've read a thousand time. 1290 days really means 1260 days. Hmmm, let's put the other 30 days where it's convenient for us. One more, World dosn't mean world, it means age. These people are basically saying, the 47 translators of the K.J.V. the most brilliant men are wrong! What a bunch of nonsense!

I have put my statements on a real timeline, not a make-believe one. It begins with Daniel 12:11, "From the time the daily sacrifice shall be taken away," 598 B.C, is when the daily sacrifice was taken away by Nebuchadnezzar, 2 Chronicles 36:5-7. What's your timeline for that event?

1290 years later the Dome is built, that's a fact. 1335 years later, three years from now, will open up the great tribulation, October 2027.

And if the rapture is pre-trib, this year April or early May 2024 may be the target date. If its mid-trib it will be in late October of 2027.

Obedience wrote, " Were not the scribes and Pharisees an abominable desolation when Jesus Christ was there?"
No, they were the then Priests of Israel.

Okay, I'll bite. Be specific, exactly what verses are you basing your comments on?

I have a lunch date in half an hour, may not respond until later. And when I respond, if I spell a word incorrectly, please don't point it out to me, I am a lousy typer.

If you at the promises of the kingdom God told David “you won’t build a house for me , I’ll build a house for you and make a place for my people where they will never be overtaken again “

“Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in: for I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another.

Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars? Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel: and I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.

Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning, and since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel.

Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD will build thee an house. And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.”
‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭17:

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:19‬ ‭

“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭8:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭7:9-10, 13-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“but ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:22-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”

A few thoughts on this, can be found Here
I took a look at the site and its comments. I've seen them many times by many writers. 1290 has nothing to do with 1260 plus 30 whatever's!

The word days in Daniel is a wall for many who study the book of Daniel. Context, it's all about context. If you cannot explain when the "Daily sacrifice" was taken away, the numbers 1290 and the 1335 are meaningless.

The verse reads, "From the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days."

Note, there are no periods separating the two events, only commas. Therefore, its one event that rolls right into a second event.

Daily sacrifice ended when Nebuchadnezzar removed the vessels of the temple, 2 Chronicles 36:5-7. The year 598 B.C. 1290 years later the Dome of the Rock, and abomination was set up on God's holy mountain, the year, 692 A.D. Nothing fancy, plain, simple and to the point.

1290 days speaks clearly of the Abomination that causes Desolation after the antichrist takes his seat in the temple on Day 1260--2 Thess.2.

Nice to meet you Omegatime. My question, What temple would that be?
Two abominations occuring at two different times. The Dome of the Rock is the abomination that was "Set up" Daniel 12:11, The antichrist is the abomination that is "Standing in the holy place." We know he is a liar, he claiming to be God, and that he will calim to be, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, "sitting in the temple of God (the Dome of the Rock), and/or "standing in the holy place, Matthew 24:15; and he is a liar on all accounts.

That's my take on it.

11 Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told: “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, 2 but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample over the holy city for forty-two months.

This is Jesus speaking: “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! 35 See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ ”

He was speaking to the Jews, the house of natural Israel. Those descendant will not see Him until they receive one who comes in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

"...you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ ”

This line: "...your house is left to you desolate" would have been very offensive to the Jews. They claimed, and could prove, that their lineage led back to Abraham. They assumed that their association with Abraham secured some special status with God. It did not. Yet, culturally, they thought themselves superior to all others.

Yet, this is what Paul wrote to the Galatians:

"...know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham."

He doubles down: "...foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham."

Both Jews of faith AND gentiles of faith would inherit the promises given to Abraham. Since this is "of faith" Paul is not talking about a DNA lineage but a lineage of the spirit. The lineage of those of faith goes all the way back to God:

"For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek..."

In Christ, natural DNA or "the flesh" is irrelevant.

"And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise."

But then Paul strikes a death-blow to all who claim that natural DNA gives one special status with God. He compares Abraham's two sons: Isaac and Ishmael. By this time these two sons and their offspring had opposed each other since birth. The descendants of Ishmael were enemies of the Jews. (They still are today!) In the Jews' minds, there were Jews who were special and everyone else, the gentiles. If a person was a descendant of Ishmael, they were less-than everyone else.

He explains that the covenant at Sinai (The 10 Commandments and the Law) was only given to the Jews. Any benefits of the covenant were dispensed only to the Jews who were at Sinai. However, there was always at work (and even well-before Sinai) a covenant of Faith. While the Jews could rightfully claim exclusivity in the Sinai covenant, the covenant of Faith would be dispensed to all who believed in Christ.

Furthermore, the Law and the 10 Commandments created slaves of the Jews. When Paul wrote Galatians they were still in bondage (as are all who are under the Law and the 10 Commandments)

This is where Paul gets offensive to the Jews:

For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar— 25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— 26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.

HE EQUATES THE COVENANT AT SINAI TO HAGAR THE SLAVE WOMAN!

Ouch, Paul! No Bar Mitzvah invites for you!

And Paul doubles down again! (and this is where "desolate" comes back into focus).

“Rejoice, O barren,
You who do not bear!
Break forth and shout,
You who are not in labor!
For the desolate has many more children
Than she who has a husband.”

"She who has a husband" was Sarah, YET, the woman originally not included in the promises given to Abraham, Hagar (the gentiles who are enemies to the Jews), would have more children of promise than Sarah (the natural Jews).

This is where I'm going:

The natural house of Israel is desolate as it relates to the covenant of faith in Christ. The 10 Commandments and the Law made DNA Israel blind to Christ. They are not producing children of promise.

DESOLATION is the outcome of the Sinai Covenant.

One cannot be made desolate unless they were first fruitful. If one is fruitful under the covenant of faith in Christ, they would be made desolate if they return to the Law and the 10 Commandments.
