I like what you wrote.

When I see violations of human free will by God, it is in sooooo many stories like the one below. Look at what David says about the behavior of Shimei. Oh, and by the way, this story points to Christ and the abuse He took, all of which was a prearranged Plan by God. I'll throw that verse in too.

2 Samuel 16:5-13 NLT - "As King David came to Bahurim, a man came out of the village cursing them. It was Shimei son of Gera, from the same clan as Saul's family. 6 He threw stones at the king and the king's officers and all the mighty warriors who surrounded him. 7 "Get out of here, you murderer, you scoundrel!" he shouted at David. 8 "The LORD is paying you back for all the bloodshed in Saul's clan. You stole his throne, and now the LORD has given it to your son Absalom. At last you will taste some of your own medicine, for you are a murderer!" 9 "Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king?" Abishai son of Zeruiah demanded. "Let me go over and cut off his head!" 10 "No!" the king said. "Who asked your opinion, you sons of Zeruiah! If the LORD has told him to curse me, who are you to stop him?" 11 Then David said to Abishai and to all his servants, "My own son is trying to kill me. Doesn't this relative of Saul have even more reason to do so? Leave him alone and let him curse, for the LORD has told him to do it. 12 And perhaps the LORD will see that I am being wronged and will bless me because of these curses today." 13 So David and his men continued down the road, and Shimei kept pace with them on a nearby hillside, cursing as he went and throwing stones at David and tossing dust into the air."

Acts 2:22-23 NLT - "People of Israel, listen! God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through him, as you well know. 23 But God knew what would happen, and his prearranged plan was carried out when Jesus was betrayed. With the help of lawless Gentiles, you nailed him to a cross and killed him."
so if a person thinks he has free will hes ok to go and kill someone, or betray them.

Is it the case he has free will or is he just thinking he's free to do what he wants.

Or man believes why should I be subject to somebody else's will why should I let anyone tell me what to do.

Scripture says no one is without excuse so they will know there all doing wrong before they do it.

Man without Gods will living in them would not know they where doing wrong.

They may think there free to do what they want but are they really.

Its like saying God is liberal and he will allow anything like same sex marriage do you understand what I'm saying here.

I believe I do understand.

Say, you reminded me of another thought:

If humans have the free will to do what Adolf Hitler did, then who would even want it?

People say that God loves us proven by the gift of free will. First, there's no Scripture that says that . . . anywhere. But I say it is the opposite. Because God is obviously in control, this is Love.

Example:

When I had step-children, one of my daughters decided that she wanted to do her own thing, and ran away and became a professional prostitute. This went on for a couple of years. She was gang-raped multiple times and lucky to be alive. This was all before she even turned 15 years old. Stepdad was in the grocery stores putting up posters of my missing and beautiful daughter. I was stapling them to telephone poles. I was desperate, for all professionals involved were telling us the same thing: little girls like her get killed doing what she was doing. She's very lucky . . . they always said.

If I could have, I would have totally controlled her brain to cause her to think and live in a different way. I know . . . there will be people here who have absolutely no heart nor compassion to understand how unbelievably difficult it is to sleep each night, knowing that you cannot do anything to help your blessed daughter, as she is being raped by some creep . . . yet again.

A truly loving person would do anything to prevent others from suffering. And this is the gift of God . . . for He has a Plan that dominates ours, and all things will be made right. This is the report of the Bible.

well what will would man be under if doing evil things.

There's a few reason why people do bad things, by influence of others or by the temptation of evil getting a hold of there thoughts and others.

There is a fight between good and evil.

Man is born with knowledge of evil that was never intended for him to have, so what free will does he have there.

Man will also sin by his own accord because of the evil knowledge that lives in him to

Theres also the fact that all people are born imprisoned to God's law now,

A person can be controlled by God's law or satan laws what free will does he have there

Would Adam and eve have been told not what to do in the garden by God if they had free will by God.

Would the servant been able to change there mind if they had free will.

Is it not the case that man was created by God to be an innocent grazer always in need of his father will

Very nice my friend.

What about king Saul? By his free will, did he ask the Lord for the Holy Spirit? By his free will, did he ask the Lord to remove the Holy Spirit and replace it with a demon spirit? No, he sure didn't. Saul, under the Power of the Holy Spirit, Loved David. But under the Power of the evil Spirit, he was compelled to murder David . . . and with no good reason. Sound familiar? Jesus said that the Scriptures point to Him. Saul is like the Blessed Jews during Jesus's Day, who turned on Jesus and really didn't understand why. Even Peter fell under this wave of sleep, for within minutes, he went from being willing to die to protect Christ against a band of Roman Soldiers, to whimping out . . . and he couldn't understand why.

There is a Plan! God has always had an Eternal Plan and it cannot be stopped. What human has ever had a plan that they drew up, and they knew 100% that it would not fail even in the littlest. No one. No one can say they can Plan like God, for people are not dependable. We can't count on people to do their part in our plan, I mean, they could die and not execute their responsibilities. An accident could happen; all kinds of things could happen to thwart human plans, and they do. But the Plan is unstoppable. Why? Because He executes His pre-written Plan, written upon a Heavenly Scroll. The Father calls out the command and the Spirit makes it happen. That is straight up Scripture almost verbatim.

Isaiah 14:24-27 NLT - "The LORD of Heaven's Armies has sworn this oath: "It will all happen as I have planned. It will be as I have decided. 25 I will break the Assyrians when they are in Israel; I will trample them on my mountains. My people will no longer be their slaves nor bow down under their heavy loads. 26 I have a plan for the whole earth, a hand of judgment upon all the nations. 27 The LORD of Heaven's Armies has spoken--who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?"

It pains me when I see people strip God of His Sovereign Power. He has made His controlling Power so clear and obvious, yet few are able to recognize Him in this incredibly beautiful way.

How many people have been converted from the Power of Satan to the Power of God today? Are we sharing this concept with those with whom we share the Gospel?

Acts 26:14-18 NLT - "We all fell down, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is useless for you to fight against my will.' "'Who are you, lord?' I asked. "And the Lord replied, 'I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting. Now get to your feet! For I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and witness. You are to tell the world what you have seen and what I will show you in the future. And I will rescue you from both your own people and the Gentiles. Yes, I am sending you to the Gentiles to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God's people, who are set apart by faith in me."

Samuel told Saul that the holy spirit would come upon him and change him for the better Good.

Did Samuel ask for that, I don't think so but is that violation of a person's free will when it's God's life in the first place,

Ok so he made some decisions of his own to Disobey God, but here's the thing tim,
1 Corinthians 15

The Resurrection Body
35 But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” 36 How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, where is mans free will here

and to each kind of seed he gives its own body. 39 Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. 40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. 41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

Where is the mans free will here.

Man disobey because his body is sown perishable,

But Why is mans body sown perishable,

Well because it's born with evil knowledge, that put Adams spiritual nature under the control of death so where is a man's free will there.

Also note that what is being said here, it saying the natural body never changes, and it also saying where there is a natural body there is also a spiritual body.

Which means man is born with spiritual body that is alive to death, as in sown perishable.

Wheres the free will here.

So once again I say was it not the case that man was created by God to be controlled by God's will, as God created man to always be his children and for man to always honour him worship him obey him follow him love him depend on him.

According to some sects within Christendom, that child abuse was decreed by God from eternity past to happen for His glory.
One can claim they belong to anything but their actions will always reveal the truth. Only a cult minded and demonic influenced group would adhere to such practices.

Some equate what we call 'free will' to meaning having one's 'unobstructed' self righteous desires being fulfilled...

In God's plan of redemption? While we live in the devil's world?
God arranged for us to have a "limited domain" for exercising our will freely.

Free can only be achieved by grace and granted to a believer when God's grace matures that one in Christ.
Matured to be made free by grace to be able not to sin and free to learn truth of God's Word that leads to
the transformation into His image.

2 Corinthians 3:18
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed
into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

If we accidently sin? This domain God gives us also brings with it the ability to regain the filling of the Spirit when we sin
by us recognizing our sin and acknowledging it to God. When we acknowledge our sin to God we will resume walking in the
Spirit as per 1 John 1:7-9.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with
one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not
in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins
and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:7-9

Thank you for sharing! And I'm glad that you brought up the Veil of Moses. This story is right at the utter heart of the hidden, Plan of God. The concept and principle within this incredible living allegory 100% points to the Purpose of Christ, the Work of Christ, and the Effect of Christ.

What does the following passage mean?
§ Second Corinthians 3:13 . . . N.L.T. – “We are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so the people of Israel would not see the glory, even though it was destined to fade away.”

As we described above, when Moses pulled the Veil over his face to cover the Light of God, this prevented the Jews from understanding and obeying the Law of Moses, the most important of which was to Love God and others, which implies total forgiveness. Further still, this Veil would not allow the Jews to comprehend the coming of Jesus Christ. This is precisely how the Lord has kept the Mysterious Plan hidden from the Blessed Jews.
§ Romans 11:25 . . . A.M.P. – “I do not want you, believers, to be unaware of this mystery [God's previously hidden plan] - so that you will not be wise in your own opinion - that a partial hardening has temporarily happened to Israel to last until the full number of the Gentiles has come in . . .”

Friends, what does this Veil represent? What is the symbolism behind it? Yes, the Veil represents the Sinful Nature, that blinding Nature does not allow an unregenerate person to see the Light of the Truth, Christ Himself. The only way to know and have this Light of Christ is to turn to Jesus in full Belief, Submission, Obedience, Confidence, and willingness to Share His Saving Plan.
§ Second Corinthians 3:14 . . . N.L.T. – “But the people's minds were hardened, and to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, the same veil covers their minds so they cannot understand the truth. And this veil can be removed only by believing in Christ.”

The only way to understand the truth is by receiving the Spiritual Circumcision of Christ.
§ Colossians 2:11-15 . . . N.L.T. – “When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision - the cutting away of your sinful nature. For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.”

What Paul says next about the Blessed Jews is shocking, for he says that nearly the entire Nation has hardened hearts and that during this whole time, their hearts have been covered with Moses’s Veil. We first learned of the Veil of Moses on Day 41 of our study plan, and look at this: We are still dealing with his Veil. Therefore, we must conclude that understanding the principles behind the Veil of Moses is quintessential to understanding the Christian Faith and how it Works.

To conclude Chapter 3, Paul reiterates that the Veil is removed when someone turns to Christ (as we see in Colossians 2:11 above). The Veil of Moses represents the Sinful Nature that must be removed so that the Light and Glory of God will shine down upon His Elect, thus Enabling them all to understand, respond to, and obey Him.

Has anyone been saved today? Has God pulled anyone through that invisible, psychological barrier that won't allow them to understand, or even choose Him? Has anyone been released from the captivity of the Devil today? If so, this is grounds for a major celebration!

John 6:44 . . . N.L.T. – “For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.”

LOL - I didn't realize that Gabriel was Christian. :)
me neither I assume he is because hes part of the young pilgrims collection.

I was moved by your posts wanting to talk about will and question it with you.

It's so true that only the father can save you, by drawing you to the son.

Why is that I wonders. Why is it not the other way round.

My father spoke to me before and reminded me never will I leave you never will I forsake you

But why am I deserving of his love why should he choose me over someone else, I know it's not a favour, I know it's something else, anyway I'm asking him now, I had an answer because he loves me, because your my child.

I don't get any other reason I just call to him and he listens.

And he speaks and gives me wisdom ideas hopes dreams, rewards.

He never says I love you out of favour he just speak and I get warm and shy in his presence

I don't ask for anything other than to do his will, I only ask him how I can help him today, that's all I do everyday more or less.

He tells me things in secret and kindness,

He always answers when I seek him appropriately,

Something he hasn't tho when he been punishing me. He hasn't spoke to me once for weeks, I'm not sure it's because I was ignoring everyone at the time for weeks.

But anyhow I'm sure it's case just how people speak to God that matters most to God.

Anyhow time for some more pilgrims 😊

Wow. I very much sense a softness in your heart that shone through in this last post. (The Sun is about to rise, by the way. It is always a Glorious event to be reminded of Jesus's Resurrection each day the clouds don't block this most unbelievable event!)

Any way, you asked a question above and I just wanted to let you know that I don't have the time to offer an answer now, but I will.

May the Light of God Shine upon your soul as it is about to Shine upon my face. So thankful for the Rising of the Son.

The other thing I often wonder,.is the fact that nothing is hidden from the lord, and I wonder for people who believe they can do what they want or are free to choose, are they actually only behaving like this on the bases of trying to escape the will of God or the will of something or somebody else, for a longing of wanting something better, but really are they escaping, i mean where is there to go in this world really other than into the freedom of Christ, I mean sure you know, you can go for stroll, or have some quiet time in privacy,

But besides God, I suppose there many ways in which people are living in some kind of slavery.

But even theese rich people, with all the time in the world, are they free truly. Isn't freedom really something you only long for or imagine. Is anybody truly free in this world.

Arr you really only free within yourself, you know peace of mind, relaxed, until you off on your next chapter on your way

Knowing that one day your life will be over as God has alloted an amount of time for you to live in the body the flesh etc.

And the only freedom you really only truly have is inner inner peace until your attention is needed else where.

Is free will really only a dream or a hope of a better place or a distant reality.

Or the ability to live in peace,

Is the ability to choose out of your desire free will ,. Can we trust the definition of the dictionary on free will, really or is that only somebody's dreamed up imagination.

Who wants to be free anyway, I mean what's the point, what does it accomplish. What is freedom, not being locked up, or having a safe environment being at peace. Living in equality, or a place of social justice, where everyone is living with the same morals and values.

Or is it a vision one day you'll be ruling the world, or the hope you'll live for ever.

Bummer! I told you that I was going to come back and comment on something that you wrote . . . it struck me deeply. But after reading your message twice now, I can't figure out what I was going to comment on!!!

how is it that The father leads people to christ,

Why is it Jesus says no one can come to me unless the one who sent me draws them to me.

Question

Why is it not the other way round

Like no one can come to father unless i draw them to the father.

The point to this is to do with will

It's so true that only the father can save you, by drawing you to the son.

Why is that I wonders. Why is it not the other way round.
Ha! I was looking at the wrong message earlier. What you wrote above is what I wanted to mention.

Why? You ask. We can only come to the Father if He draws us, meaning we cannot go to Him otherwise. My friend, this is about Power. The entire Old Testament establishes God's Almighty Power. Christians must learn about Him in the Old Testament, for perhaps by doing so, some might learn what it means to fear Him. God wants all the Glory. He wants to be fully responsible for our Salvation, for if He is not, then of what use is He? The moment He lowers His guard and gives us humans a way to not give Him credit, we will do it in an instant. So the Lord makes it clear that no one, not even by free will, has the internal fortitude to seek God. Their hearts must, absolutely must be prepared (drawn).

The other purpose and this is my opinion and definitely not Scripture, but the fact that the Jews could not obey proves how impenetrable the Curse of the Lord is. There is nothing any human can do to remove this Curse, this Power of sin that Paul said Jews and Gentiles alike are born into. Even when the Blessed Jews had the Law, they still could not obey. They could never figure out that forgiveness was greater than stoning a person to death, even though the Law demanded them both!! But they were Spiritually blinded. They could not see Spiritual Truths! Thus, they were unable to obey, and the Law was just misunderstood, especially that of physical circumcision. They were completely backward on that doctrine.
