Does the Bible support the idea of a spinning ball earth flying through space, or is that a Satanic, Masonic lie?

So you believe God dumbed down the scriptures for ancient writers? Or you believe ancient writers didn't properly understand God when He inspired them, and they scribed inaccurately?
The ancients thought the world was flat. God works with people according to their understanding.

It depends on who you believe inspired the bible. If God, then of course He knew how His creation worked. If man, then you have a bigger problem than just Heliocentric theory.
considering that your Bible is this:

Is the Septuagint the same as the Tanakh?

The Septuagint does not consist of a single, unified corpus. Rather, it is a collection of ancient translations of the Tanakh, along with other Jewish texts that are now commonly referred to as apocrypha.

What does apocrypha mean?
apocrypha, (from Greek apokryptein, “to hide away”), in biblical literature, works outside an accepted canon of scripture. The history of the term's usage indicates that it referred to a body of esoteric writings that were at first prized, later tolerated, and finally excluded.

What is Esoteric Writings?

a personal interpretation!

or the Mazoretic text...the ONLY ONE being inspired by you READING these Versions is Satan, he is pleased you are Educating yourself on pure BALONEY!!

Anyone proposing Flat Earth while using this for their Old Testament:

another survey revealed, those who smoke pot and read the Bible think the Earth is FLAT!

Nov 24, 2021 — I've heard lots of people blame his conspiracy beliefs on smoking too much weed

Oct 20, 2021 — Chino Moreno says Stephen Carpenter's flat-earth, anti-vax, and COVID-truther conspiracy theories likely stem from "weed."

Well that's another issue.

From my research I see flat earthers dispute a spinning globe, because it favours evolution and not creation.

So they feel it's nesacsrily to defend creation over evolution.

But I have to say suggesting some one as a gerbil stuck up there ass and calling them homo is a bit below the belt.

Anyway me and you had a long discussion about the creation of the foundations being a separate creation to earth, remember.

Well scripture says a seed is grown first and not the body.

So perhaps you should retract your statement of me being stoned too.

All tho that's upto you 🙂

Anyhow putting aside gerbils up the what'sits, ouch lol.

And homos who speak gibberish , and conspiracy theories that speak utter trash.

I favour the notion the whole earth is the Garden of eden, and we are the grazers along with the animals. Innocent beings now living in world taken over by the one eyed Cyclops 😂

Consider for a moment the technical capability of the people who penned the Scriptures. Would they have been able to ascertain that a planet is fundamentally distinct in nature from a star? Probably not. Generally, God did not give 21st-century knowledge to the ancient peoples. They would have perceived a planet as a bright spot (‘star’) that moves differently than other bright slots do. If you want to believe that is because it is actually a star, that’s fine, but don’t expect others to join you.
Do you realize that you are following after "evolution think" with this statement?

Why do you think that you know absolutely-for-a-fact that the "ancient peoples" were 'dumbed-down' compared to us? I believe the truth is more probable the other way around - we are 'dumbed-down' compared to them. Oh, sure - we have 'knowledge' and 'technology' - but, what we lack is the wisdom to know what to believe. We do not know how to see what is plainly right in front of us because we are so thoroughly brainwashed from birth and are prone to letting our excessive pride get in the way of correcting the error that is caused by the brainwashing.

All anyone has ever been able to actually see is a bright spot. Consider:

well Gary from start to finish I have only used banter in this thread.

But since you can't see my quote as banter,

All I can assume is this really means a lot to you.

I feal it does but with another persons thoughts being mentioned as suggesting we have the mark of the beast in a discussion, of what I thought was banter. Is just a bit foolish also.

But if your going to take offence for the word foolish, when Jesus also uses that term.

Then you need to lighten up.

I really did think all of you arguing the earth was flat was just a bit of banter.

But now I don't know what to make of it.

I guess I'll have to accept it's ok to be a flat earther if ya want to be.
You assume waaaaaaaaaay too much...

I can see that you are one to let your imagination run away with you.

I am not so easily offended by what people post - my skin is thicker-than-most on here. I take the stance that what I read in a post is only someone's opinion. I know what I believe, and very seldom 'react' out of emotion to what I have read. No matter what anyone else says, what I believe remains as solid as a rock. I actually do consider what other people post - but, very carefully.

I try to always think about what I want to say before I post it.

I will say in all honesty that I got tired of you not letting go of the 'seed/body' thing - and, went off to watch some videos for a while - and, do some IRL stuff.

Don't let your thoughts demand that other people post quickly in answer to yours - sometimes, there is a reason for the 'pause' in the conversation...

Food for thought:

James 1:

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

The ancients thought the world was flat.
And, they were right!

They did not think it because they were 'simple-minded' (in the sense of being 'dumb'); rather, on the contrary, they understood very intelligently "what was" from the scriptures.

God works with people according to their understanding.
Today, God has much work to do and little to work with... :(

People are so brainwashed today that 'understanding' is 'dismal'.
