Nice. You might like it. The movie came out in 2019 (dub in 2020), and is set in the summer of 2021. Watched it on May 1st, 2023.

i always liked the original dub escaflowne.
My daughter and I watched that, but not dubbed. We preferred to hear the original language
and voices, inflection, emotions etc. Plus she taught herself Japanese as a direct result of her
love of manga and anime. So she did not even need the subtitles LOL.

Well, thank God for this beautiful summer. Now with a new covid variant it's time to stay home and put on a mask when indoors with large crowds.
