Dude, we've always had an option for that. Just simply choose the "Low Speed" option (instead of the default "High Speed") in the form before you click the "Chat Now!" button to open the chat app.
Then you'll only receive audio and no video.
(You'll see each person's chat avatar instead of their video, when they're speaking.)
