The context of this is talking about the state of man before the intervention of Jesus. What I'm saying is that his death and sacrifice cloaks us in his righteousness, so that even should we sin from the list above, when we die will still be able to stand righteous before the Father on judgement day. Without that cloak, there is no way that we could ever be found rightous before the law.

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation 21:7-8
7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
It's important to read the rest of second part of that section in Corinthians. It completes both above passages.
"And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

And you are correct! But once you are a Christian (which was the presupposition here), should you be induced to commit suicide, that sin should not be held against you any more than any of the other sins you have committed in the course of your life. Jesus' blood covers them ALL, and enables you to stand righteous before the Father.
