If you did not like the gay bars because of the atmosphere you cannot be that bad off for you have a decentcy about you so it would seem like you could overcome homosexuality easily.

Being Celebate is not going to help you to overcome homosexuality if you still think homosexuality is alright and lust after it in your heart.Jesus said if you lust after a woman you have committed fornication.God said however a man thinks that is how He is.You do not have to commit the act of homosexuality to sin for if you approve of it and lust after it you have sinned.

Homosexuality is a fleshy pleasure that people get in to for whatever reason.People are not born homosexual but it is choice that they make later in life after they are born.

When a person is saved and receive the Spirit they will find that homosexuality is repulsive because then they would feel about that sin as the Holy Spirit feels about that sin which it is repulsive to the Holy Spirit.As long as you are led of the Spirit and not the flesh you will understand how homosexuality is wrong and will feel how it is wrong.
