yes when i have tried to eat exlusively vegan i have found it difficult, i think a lot of it depends on how much time you have, who youre cooking for, budget and lifestyle. i think we need to find a middle-way that suits our circumstances and if that means one vegetarian meal a week for meat-lovers or one vegan meal a week for vegetarians..one raw-food meal a week for vegans or one home-cooked meal a week for take-away addicts then that would still seem really progressive to me...if i could convince the people i live with to eat even one meat-free meal a week i would be happy but sadly they wont even TRY anything different, the few times i have made food they wont even try it, even though i am expected to eat their meat dishes every day after twenty years of vegetarian and vegan living!
