God created us with freewill because He wants us to come to Him and love Him willfully.

Because of that freewill humankind has always gone against the Lord our God.
He has in the past through His moral teachings and laws has tried to show mankind to follow Him properly. We choose to disobey those commands. Once His full will has been done on earth, then He will rid the earth of all evil and all that will remain will be those of us who chose to freely trust and love Him.

I think this is a reasonable question, honestly thats an answer im not sure a lot of ppl if any can answer correctly.
Obviously he knew evil would happen and that satan would rebel he knew man would fall and he knew there would be pain and suffering.

Honestly the reason is a mystery the answer is to simply have faith and know that he knows what he is doing and that he knows better than us.

There is pain, evil and suffering in the world because this is a sinful world, and we are sinful, imperfect humans. God allows it to happen because he is hoping we will use our hardships to learn a lesson from them, and learn to trust him to bring us through them. Our hardships and trials are all used for God's glory, if we allow them to be. He can turn any bad situation into a good one. :)

i think it's a false question. the moment i think i know better than God how life ought to be run, i forget that He is God and i am not.
fear of Him is the beginning of knowledge. i cannot fear Him and think to judge Him.

It's like watching the process of a rose grow, you know there will be thorns, will that hinder you from planting the beautiful rose?

and the first rose that ever grew in your garden - what if you had seen it's thorns and pulled it up before it ever budded? you would never have smelled its flowers.

Good overview, and definitely Biblical. Amen

There won't always be as He dealt with that stuff at Calvary and will one day soon banish it forever.

21Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make
one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known,
endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

Because we aren't so powerful and we know nothing. Suffering and pain is the result of our disobedience and rebelling against God, and its necessary to bring us back to God. And remember the first law; Don't eat of the tree of good and evil? Well, we did, and now we know evil. Not a tough question at all :)

This scripture came to mind, 1 Tim 6:4, yet ions stimulate the neurons of the natural mind.

Well, if you stimulate your mind with more than two truths in any one post your playing with it...

I would like to look at this from a different angle. No suffering or pain, this means we wont need any more hospitals,or doctors, dentist, medical clinics, wont need police, sheriffs or highway patrol. what about food, it causes suffering,so no food, cars they pollute, more suffering. locks for our doors. does this mean I can go skydiving without a parachute. This could go on and on. Might want think about this for awhile.

The answers to this question are many and I think include the following:

This world is under the curse pronounced after the Fall of Adam & Eve. The curse includes physical and spiritual death, disease, pain, and the sweat of the brow principle. All of nature is included in the curse.

Satan is the ruler of this world. He is a genius but is totally arrogant. He would like to bring about perfect environment in this world and get everyone to ignore God and worship him. But he cannot control the world in its entirety, eliminate the free will of man or the gospel message. So the curse continues, the world is not perfect and Satan, smart as he is, cannot fix everything or eliminate the curse.

Every individual is born with the sin nature. Does this cause suffering? You bet!

People make wise and unwise decisions. We reap what we sow. We create our own personal misery though bad decisions.

But there is also suffering for blessing. Not all suffering is because of sin or bad decisions. Only in this life can you experience suffering. In Heaven, suffering does not exist. So as blue_ladybug pointed out, suffering is used to train and teach us. One of the privileges in this life (believe it or not) is to experience suffering and get to personally see God’s grace sufficiency.

To teach mankind. The only way we really come to know good, is to know evil and what not to do so that we may choose the good and cling to it eternally.

I could make this complicated, but I'm too tired for that. He knew we could eat the fruit. The whole thing that happen to Lucifer, the garden, tree, Adam and Eve was all a game play that even Lucifer doesn't knew he was a part of because God never told any of the angels about it.

That's the whole idea for us to have mind. It's for us to stimulate it and try to test what we believe and see after all the hesitated, and confusing thoughts about God if we still love him and believe in him. Day will come when Christians who thought they knew God will denial him flat out in the face of fear and dead.

Evil is not a thing. It has no being, it does not exist as a thing exists. Evil is the privation (absence) of Good.
