This verse is in the Message Bible, so it's only an interpretation of the passage. But it's super relevant to my life right now, and it's also really powerful, so I just had to share it.

Matthew 6:33The Message (MSG)
30-33 “If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

Summed up pretty much with this...

Matthew 6:33 But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

It was also posted in the OP, but I surely didn't recognize it in that paraphrased version. :p

Did he miss the pursue righteousness bit, or am I not seeing it in the paraphrase?

Either way it's a very encouraging scripture that I should read more often hehe

Actually, looking it over, it reads almost more like a running commentary than a paraphrase.

May we all learn to walk and grow in Jesus's Spirit, setting aside flesh for what is eternal. :)
