No, this is not about Universalism, allow me to explain. I was doing a word study and came across something I have never encountered. I want to share and get your take on it.

The word I began to study was "WORLD". In the Greek there is the word "Kosmos" and is Strong's #G2889 and has 152 occurences in the NT.

G2889

κόσμος
kosmos
kos'-mos
Probably from the base of G2865; orderly arrangement, that is, decoration; by implication the world (in a wide or narrow sense, including its inhabitants, literally or figuratively [morally]): - adorning, world.

LXX related word(s)
H134 eden
H3627 keli
H4639 maaseh
H5716 maadannim
H5716 adi
H6635 tsava
H8499 tekhunah
H8597 tipheret

So I wondered what words are used in the OT in the LLX+ for Strong's #G2889. What I found was a real surprise.

Here are the following OT scriptures in KJV+ that reflect the LLX+ scriptures utilizing G2889=Kosmos.

Gen 2:1 the host[SUP]H6635[/SUP] of them.

Exo 33:5 thy ornaments[SUP]H5716[/SUP] from[SUP]H4480 H5921[/SUP] thee, that I may know[SUP]H3045[/SUP] what[SUP]H4100[/SUP] to do[SUP]H6213[/SUP] unto thee.

Exo 33:6 ornaments[SUP]H5716[/SUP] by the mount[SUP]H4480 H2022[/SUP] Horeb.[SUP]H2722[/SUP]

2Sa 1:24 ornaments[SUP]H5716[/SUP] of gold[SUP]H2091[/SUP] upon[SUP]H5921[/SUP] your apparel.[SUP]H3830[/SUP]

Pro 17:6 and the glory[SUP]H8597[/SUP] of children[SUP]H1121[/SUP] are their fathers.[SUP]H1[/SUP]

Pro 20:29 The glory[SUP]H8597[/SUP]

Isa 3:18 the bravery[SUP]H8597[/SUP] of their tinkling ornaments[SUP]H5914[/SUP]

Isa 3:20 the ornaments of the legs,[SUP]H6807[/SUP]

Isa 24:21 the host[SUP]H6635[/SUP]

Isa 40:26 their host[SUP]H6635[/SUP]

Isa 49:18 an ornament,[SUP]H5716[/SUP] .

Isa 61:10 her jewels.[SUP]H3627[/SUP]

Jer 2:32ornaments,[SUP]H5716[/SUP]

Jer 4:30 Aornaments[SUP]H5716[/SUP] of gold,[SUP]H2091[/SUP] though[SUP]H3588[/SUP] thou rentest[SUP]H7167[/SUP] thy face[SUP]H5869[/SUP] with painting,[SUP]H6320[/SUP] in vain[SUP]H7723[/SUP] shalt thou make thyself fair;[SUP]H3302[/SUP] thy lovers[SUP]H5689[/SUP] will despise[SUP]H3988[/SUP] thee, they will seek[SUP]H1245[/SUP] thy life.[SUP]H5315[/SUP]

Eze 7:20 As for the beauty[SUP]H6643[/SUP] of his ornament,[SUP]H5716[/SUP]

Eze 16:11 I decked[SUP]H5710[/SUP] thee also with ornaments,[SUP]H5716[/SUP]

Eze 23:40 with ornaments,[SUP]H5716[/SUP]

Nah 2:9 furniture.[SUP]H3627[/SUP]

Number of uses of "ornaments" = 11 times for the LLX+ G2889.

Number of uses of "jewels" = 1 time

and so on.... as you can see...

continued...

I thought about the scriptures that say we are to be a peculiar treasure and wondered if there was a connection to "kosmos"

Unfortunately I have not found a unifier through Strong's to connect "world/kosmos" with "peculiar/special treasure", but here are those verses with "peculiar" and "special" and "treasure"...

H5459
סגלּה
s[SUP]e[/SUP]gûllâh
seg-ool-law'
Feminine passive participle of an unused root meaning to shut up; wealth (as closely shut up): - jewel, peculiar (treasure), proper good, special.

Heb_10:39 to the saving[SUP]G1519 G4047[/SUP]

1Pe_2:9 a peculiar[SUP]G1519 G4047[/SUP] people;

At the time of the Temple in the Wilderness and in Jerusalem, the Levite priests were to wear a vest with 12 precious gem stones.

Exo 28:15 And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.
Exo 28:16 Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof.
Exo 28:17 And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row.
Exo 28:18 And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
Exo 28:19 And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
Exo 28:20 And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.
Exo 28:21 And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.

And in the NT we find in Revelations the following regarding these precious stones:

Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Rev 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Rev 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Rev 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
Rev 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
Rev 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
Rev 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
Rev 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
Rev 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

Rev 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Rev 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
Rev 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Rev 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

OK. If you have read all to this point, do you see the bride of the Lamb as the twelve tribes....a peculiar and special people and treasure, an ornament/ie.. the world, assigned a particular stone for each of the tribes, and the temple that comes down has 12 gates, one for each of the tribes, and the FOUNDATION is made up of the 12 apostles?

Is that the connection to "all the world" to be saved? We are to all be united as "Israel" and no 38,000 denominations of churches who are not in unity with one another?

Rev_12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
