I read in the Word that there is only One unchanging God that doesn't make mistakes.
never said He made a mistake so don't know why you would state that...

A house divided against itself cannot stand. I repeat from the previous page.
You need some love gal. Let me give you a little of Moses.
Leviticus 19:17-18
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge , nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Deuteronomy 6:5-6
5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

Deuteronomy 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Where did Moses prophecy about the coming of the Messiah. That was in the prophets wasn't it?
its in the books of Moses:

Deuteronomy 18:18 [Full Chapter]
I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.

yikes! Jesus said it right there in the verse you quoted! :)

John 5:46
For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.

Exodus 20
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.”

Ten commandments, Law of Moses = old covenant given on Mount Sinai for the bondwoman and her children.

Me and my house, we belong to the NEW covenant and to the Free Jerusalem, the NEW Jerusalem where Jesus reigns in Heaven.....

Galatians 4
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? [SUP]22 [/SUP]For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. [SUP]23 [/SUP]But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, [SUP]24 [/SUP]which things are symbolic. For these are the[SUP][d][/SUP] two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar— [SUP]25 [/SUP]for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— [SUP]26 [/SUP]but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Prophecy of Jesus from Moses after God tells him that Israel will rebel and play the harlot with false gods:

Deuteronomy 32
[SUP]43 [/SUP]“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people;[SUP][a][/SUP]
For He will avenge the blood of His servants,
And render vengeance to His adversaries;
He will provide atonement for His land and His people.”

Did you know that Deuteronomy is a reminder of the law to Israel because the rebellious people were all dead except 2? You are proving that the writings of Moses are important and are truly God's law which is also the law of Christ. Oh ya, one more thing. Jesus gave the law to Moses for He is the creator of all things and in Him all fullness dwells. Colossians chapter 1. It pleased God to have it that way.

you logic is somewhat holey.....but if you want to blur the lines, its your choice.

The Law given to Moses and the Law of grace given by Christ are two different things.

They both are FROM God. However, like the TWO covenants, they are Totally different. Like the Bondswoman and the Free woman, there is a different relationship/ covenant.

However, if you would rather pretend that they are the same... it is your lose.

Perhaps the veil is still there for you.

You can repeat it all you want. It just proves that Moses tried to teach them about God's true plan. It does not prove that the Ten commandments are the same thing as the Law of Grace preached by Jesus.

It does not negate that the Bible talks about TWO covenants.

Why did God take Enoch? There was no law for him to obey. So why?

"Thou shalt not" is in reference to staying away from things that prohibit God's way of loving. Murder is certainly not showing love so God says "Thou shalt not" do that. And so on.

Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. John 8:28

If they were not the same law then Jesus wouldn't have said this. He would have said I have a better way than My Father.
"Thou shalt not kill" can ONLY come about by someone DOING THE KILLING FIRST. The act had to be performed in order for one to say "thou shalt not kill". Therefore this was ADDED to the true law that was originally transgressed. That again is LOVE. If we stay in that, no one would kill!

Wrong- Jesus said that if you look at man with malice in your heart you have already committed murder. Boy do we need the cross! amen

I meant unless you are your own God, then it's okay. I meant why do you think that a man would take the time from feeding his goats and preparing flat bread and chopping wood to heat his children s home, go out into the woods, when he should have been hunting deer and chop down a tree and carve into an image and worship it. Sounds like a lame Father to me.

I think of it as God adding a way of repentance from the transgression of the law. As the law does not allow for that but the cross does. So that the law is not done away with but rather the penalty of transgression as it were without repentance.
