I have a radio but it is pretty worn out and doesn't get good reception and I havent found very many Christian stations. I know of K love air1 and a gospel station called Christian oasis which also has a very popular Christian forum.

for several years i was working a job such that i didn't have opportunity to attend a church service regularly -- i caught radio shows sometimes, but one other thing i did a lot was download sermons and expositions of the Bible to my phone, and listened to them that way. that might be an option for you, Blain. sermonaudio.com has searchable tons and tons of them for free. i went through Vernon McGee's entire 5-year 'Through the Bible' twice that way, too, blessed to have work where i was free to have headphones in most of the day.
This thread went around before. I'm repeating myself here, but there is a church going on all week in my home. From groups of 10 praying together and studying the bible - to two at a time - a few hours every day - all week. Men and women. Good teachers of scripture - good intercession - good fellowship - good communion - good worship.
We finally thought of a name for this happening: "The Living Room". Doors open 24/7
I have been searching for a church to call home.....I have been going to one for the past four weeks.......its nice..the praise music is amazing....a lot of young talented and gifted people....the message is always uplifting.....Then why do you suppose I'm still not feeling like this is not a home......i don't know how to explain it.....I will still search and visit others churches........but I will find itone day.....Im thinking God will thump me on the head and say........this one ....its this one...I think maybe when you are a new comer that the people there would invite you in....instead of grouping offwith the same people every week....making new comers feel like outsiders.......instead of brothers and sisters...If I had my own church....I would seek out new people every week to make them feel like the family they come to meet with.....and hope they feel like its everyone's home.....not just the regulars.......not once has anyone stopped to talk to us....asking us how we come to find them.....introducing us to others....i guess i expect to much.......

I don't think there is such a thing as a perfect church, they all seen to have flaws however small. Churches are imperfect because they are run by imperfect people.
I know your right......and I'm definitely not looking for perfect......cause that would require me to be perfect.......and we all know that's never gonna happen....but I go to church for learning and communion with others.....fellowship.....wouldn't mind meeting some imperfect people...
The church at Jerusalem,Or Ephesus,Corinth,Antioch,Galatia,Rome,Spain,Samaria,,,,,which one did Peter,Paul,Phillip,James ect. go to,,,,or were they the church?

my jo...the Baptist church we attended for almost 12 years...
our very first day there, the pastor asked if he could introduce us to his daughter and sil...
they, too, had a young family.
and they invited us to dinner at their house that very first Sunday.
it made a world of difference...taught us to do likewise.
I have always gone to church regularly, and supported my church. The only exception was when I first got RA and was too sick to get out of bed to go. Those were very hard, empty years.

hmm lets see there is a carnal law,and a physical building,,and they cannot see God,,how much sense would it make to remove a carnal law,and a physical temple and set up another they accomplish with works and that can be touched?,,,be careful of your own selves seeking to set up images of the things you consider God's,,,,
