As a sinner, we do what we want, as a follower of Christ, we do what He wants. He says live righteously, go and sin no more. He makes us strong that we can reject sin. If your constantly falling weak to the same problem, after being saved, I would tell that person pray for strength to overcome it. I still get angry from time to time, I repent, I'm working on that, so yes I've still sinned. We are not deaf, dumb, and blind though, and only God knows your heart, and what you will be held accountable for, I would say as Jesus said, go, and sin no more, not, it's ok, we're all sinners anyway, that's a wrong perception.
Do you think a christian can sin and does not know he sins ?
What are they to do ?

Our ability to walk in victory is strengthened by fellowship with other believers, reading and meditating on Gods word, worship, and distancing ourselves from things that once held us captive. We are sinners by nature and that will not change in this life. The better you get to know Christ through maturity you will learn to hate sin because of what it does. Dont ever worry about impressing God with your goodness because you dont have any! He is the author and finisher of our faith.

1 John 2:1My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have anAdvocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Proverbs 26:11 - As a dog returneth to his vomit, [so] a fool returneth to his folly.

Why would I return to my folly, this is what (sinners) do, why wouldn't I pick up my cross follow Jesus(perfection) and live righteously ?
who wants to return to their vomit? Not me...

Once we are justified by the blood of the Lamb, we are to obey Christ!

If you love me, you will keep my commandments." John 14:15

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? Luke 6:46

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." James 1:22

This is the life long process of sanctification! Yes, we sin, but we confess those sins, and keep walking with Christ, and the Holy Spirit works in us to transform us into the image of Christ.

"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit." 2 Cor. 3:18

This transformation will not be complete until the day we see Christ which is glorification!

"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." Phil. 1:6

"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known." 1 Cor. 13:12

Not on me, what they do afterwards .. It's what Jesus said.. He didn't say go, do what you want, I'm going to die for it anyway. He died that we understand our sins, and repent, and are sorry, if we are really sorry... We won't do it again,

God showed this to me after reading the Bible for many years! It gave me hope too! Thanks for your kind words.
So Angela, is it ok to sin though? Are there no consequences ? I'm speaking for the ones conscious of Christ, with the Holy Spirit living in them, do you think, that once saved a drug dealer can keep pushing drugs, die in a gun fight, and Jesus will say, welcome to the Kingdom of God? I don't think so, I'm sure God knows our heart, and if we don't turn away from sin, we are like the rest of the world, God calls us out of the world, Bible says we're not of it, just in the world.. So why would I go on doing what the world does, do you think that God knows our intentions, and our hearts, We cannot and must not deliberately sin against God. It's just not right to tell people, o well, we're not perfect, so let's just keep on with our sinful lives, if we desire perfection, our hearts will strive towards that, not deliberate sin, (because Jesus died for sin) it's just a wrong perception, as I said.

God has a better way to purify the heart instead of using laws, and it is to make a person to reap what they had sown. So basically the Holy spirit is going to make the sinner become the victim to see their own faults, then after they have been in the belly for a long time, like about three days, then they will come out from the belly and be born again.

In this case, Muslim believe in the judgement day, Allah will weigh, if your sin heavier then you good deeds, then you go to hell.

I meet a Muslim from Pakistan, he believe, almost like what catholic believe. He said, Allah will put you to hell for temporary, depend how heavy is your sin, the heavier your sin the longer you suffer in hell. Almost like purgatory. But if you non Muslim then you go to hell forever.

In my opinion, after encounter with Jesus, our life will change, not perfect yet, we are a baby, not able to walk yet. It take time, trial and error. But if it is really born again, there must be a sign of life. Not death anymore.

make mistake is for sure, but the Holy spirit always remain us. It is sin.

If a robber profess to accept the Lord and never find another job, keep business as usual, I believe this man is not genuinely accept the Lord.

He have to stop his old profession and looking for another job. Definitely he will not free from sin. But it must be sign of change.

Don't confuse horizontal consequences (ramifications for what we do in this life) for vertical judgement (eternal judgement for sins already judged in Christ at the Cross).

The Corinthians were guilty of some vile sins, yet Paul did not tell them they were no longer saved, but that sinning is stupid and destructive to you and those around you. To those having sex with temple prostitutes he didn't say that they had only God's judgement to look forward to, rather he told them that in doing so did they not realize that they were joining Christ to harlots! Christ was not leaving these people in the midst of their sinning - He wanted them to realize their New Life in Him! "Don't do things that are destructive - that's not who you are anymore!"

I'm speaking for the ones conscious of Christ, with the Holy Spirit living in them, do you think, that once saved a drug dealer can keep pushing drugs, die in a gun fight, and Jesus will say, welcome to the Kingdom of God? We hear these made-up examples, yet I have yet to hear of real-life examples of real believers living for their whole lives in grave sin. If one is truly born again, they're going to change. God guarantees it. It may not be on YOUR timetable, as an observer and judge of your brother/sister, but sure enough, what God has begun, He is faithful to complete.

So why would I go on doing what the world does, do you think that God knows our intentions, and our hearts, We cannot and must not deliberately sin against God. Those who are in Christ who are engaged in a sinful lifestyle are miserable. God's Spirit inside of them is ever teaching them who they are in Christ - forgiven, righteous, a New Creation - Grace is teaching them to say no to ungodliness - and as they begin to listen to the Spirit and understand who they are in Christ, the sinful behaviors WILL fall away.

Putting condemnation on folks like that never works; it just feeds a cycle of striving and failure under law. Take condemnation OFF of those in Christ (Rom. 8:1) and build people up in who they are in Christ and watch what God will do! And that's not made up stories - I've seen God do it! And it's awesome!

The reality is that Sin is Never O.K. Saved or not..... That is why Jesus came and died for the World to give us all a chance to be reconciled to God. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The very sad part is that even though this gift is free and available to ALL not ALL will choose life and this sacrifice that Jesus made for us. Today if you hear His voice harden not your hearts. Choose life, choose JESUS as He Saves.

If we fall and fail we do have an Advocate who pleads our case before the Father, so ask for forgiveness and an indwelling of the Holy Spirit as He can help keep you from falling. Sanctification is the work of a lifetime.

Sin brings us away from God. Not because God wants nothing to do with us when we sin but because we turn our back on God when we sin. Also sin is just bad for us. It leaves us feeling miserable and trapped. Jesus dies to save us from our chains of sin. That's Amazing! Its like if you were in prison for a long time and then someone let you out and then afterwards wanting to be back in prison. That is not to say we will never sin, we will. But sin is just so disatisfying compared to being set free.
God bless,
Dave

I like this, nice metaphor using sin, as prison, because that's exactly what it is, I'm not damning anyone to hell though, this isn't a reply to you Dave, this is for JGHG, why would anyone want to put themselves back in prison, it's like cutting yourselves, why would I tell someone, it's ok, just keep cutting yourself.. I want to shake them, give them a hug, tell them God loves them, and turn from your ways, if we do our sins are forgiven, it's the only way things will get better for anyone in this life, it just so happens it also apply to Gods favor, and getting to heaven as well, living righteously, no one said it's easy, but it's right.

If Gods on your heart and mind, we want to do it right, I'm telling anyone that decides to keep sinning after being saved, I can assure more pain is coming, TRUE STORY when I got out of this Bible program at (17) .. I knew I was different when I came out, I've never felt that way, fell back asleep within a week, wanting (the life) being liked and just caring about what everyone else thought about me. Six months later, I was first in parish jail with (c-murder) and other guys, my cell mates charge was four kid nappings and armed robbery and in prison, that's right a D.O.C. Prison at 17... Almost got my teeth knocked out by the biggest guy at a prison, within my year sentence...

I will tell you'll from experience, it only gets worse, till we learn to do it right. (Won't even mention my second sentence in prison) first example should be enough, Now tell me why would I ever want this to occur to another individual ? I would tell anyone, be sincere and give your heart to Jesus, good things will come of it, maybe night overnight like with me, I really really needed Him though, when I went to God the second time, so not everyone's situation is the same, personality none of it, what's beautiful, we're all different. If we want to walk with Christ though, we have to literally, walk with Him in righteousness as He is. If people keep on sinning after being saved and bad things happen, don't blame any of it on God, it's our own fault, period.

Sin is the reason man is lost.

Once one is saved, and if it were not possible to lose salvation, then there would be no such thing as sin and man could do anything he pleases.

I'd remembered someone had said that they had lost their daughter to the world, but their daughter were still living with them; but the only thing is that she was using drugs. And so sin is sort of like a drug that souls can get addicted too, causing a person to fade away from being what they are suppose to be like.

Amen! :)

Proverbs 24:16 - For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

Jude 1:24 - Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.

Amen! 1 John 2:1 - My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Obvious you don't understand CHASTISEMENT in a believer's life and are still propagating Campbellism and the heresy that you can loose your salvation!

So...How many times have you lost/regained your salvation?.....according to your theology you walk sinless and your works keep you saved....more heretical doctrine...and if you admit that you sin, by your own theology your are lost and on your way to hell...quite a conundrum that you are in.....!
