Bible says not so..

John 8:11
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Proverbs 26:11 - As a dog returneth to his vomit, [so] a fool returneth to his folly.

Hebrews 10:26 - For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Romans 2:16 - In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Romans 6 and Romans 8.

Romans 7, towards the end of it, is Paul explaining about 'the law' from the perspective of a Jew trying to be saved by the law - his experience before redemption.
Some use that as Paul speaking in the present tense - but that would make him double minded, contradicting himself when you read chpts 6 & 8 that sandwich chpt 7.

Context, cross-referencing, and reading all that an author wrote is the only way to keep things straight - not pulling out a few verses here and there that back up what you want Him to be saying. Those epistles are 'letters' to the church that need to be read as a whole letter. I get hurt when someone only partially quotes me - imagine how the Spirit of Truth grieves when we do that to the Author of our Salvation's Words. Those are love letters - written in Spirit & in Truth - not one word of it will pass away and we'll be judged by it when we see Him.

Study to show yourselves approved ..................................... right?

Do we sin? We are not yet perfect - but we don't make excuses for our blunders. We turn to what John said, and confess to God and look forward to forgiveness and to be cleansed from all unrightousness.

Why did He say in the N.T. - Be ye holy, even as I am holy?

Holy is totally seperated unto God's holy use. It's not sinless perfection, but the desire to be. Philippians chpt 3.

I wouldn't say can't as it's said in this verse, because everyone in "the US" anyway, has free will, we are tempted here more then most countries as well, was walking in my city a few weeks back, a older gentlemen rolls up in his electric wheelchair and says, hey, I answered yes, he said do you want to buy these painkillers, I replied, no! And went on my way, so in this country, there is plenty of temptation, but God gives us power over strongholds and snares, so that we're able to resist, I think if we know better, and are "awake" there's a price if we do, we don't live in year 100, we live in 2014 and we all know the longer the ages, more wicked it gets as God knows better then us. I just say to accept Christ and return to your folly, is foolish, and the price could be death. Why would anyone want to remain the way they are after a encounter with God , it's very foolish and to tell people it's acceptable is wrong. I understand them that do it,because after I was saved (at 17) I still wanted to be liked, have all my old friends, and girls, thought I could have both, THANK GOD, I could've died countless number of times till I was 28 and would've went straight to the pits, I think He kept me, to speak as I do now, and show the truth. People can be saved one day, give up on God and be right back in the world. We must keep our eyes on Jesus, it's the only way, and to do that we must give up the old us (sinful) and live righteously.

This is living a sinful life which is different from trying to live a just life and sin

And does not sin.

This is speaking of the spirit that has been born of God, does not sin and is eternally sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise..

If we say we have no sin (present context) then we are a liar and the truth is not in us...

Paul said when he goes to do good he finds then a law the SIN IS PRESENT WITH HIM...

The corrupt fallen body seeks to sin...the spirit born of God does not sin and the battle ground is the mind

There is not a JUST man upon the earth that doeth good and SINS NOT

ALL our RIGHTEOUSNESSES are as FILTHY rags and our INIQUITY (sins) like the wind have taken us away

DANIEL..one of three men MENTIONED BY GOD for their faithfulness preserving them CONFESSED HIS SINS IN PRAYER

DAVID born of the spirit and after them mind and heart of God SINNED numerous times and paid the price in his physical life as in CHASTISMENT....

PETER after walking on water and doing many miracles and identified as a saved child of God DENIED the LORD three times and wen and wept bitterly because of HIS SIN....

EVERYBODY should get over the fact that WE ALL SIN in some form or fashion and that is why JESUS is faithful and JUST to forgive us of our SINS when we CONFESS our SINS and make a reasonable attempt to walk right and true!

ONLY one man that never sinned JESUS...PERIOD!

Everyone has sinned, elect, we all get that, once saved, we must not, that's what's being said here.
I once was lost(sinner) now I'm found (righteous). This isn't a debate if anyone has sinned, we all know we have, once following Christ though, we pick up our cross with humility and walk righteously, we have power over sin, if we want to follow Christ and get to know Him the best we can and love Him as He loves us, then we depart from our wickedness of the flesh, We are replaced from misery, to joy, real happiness, not the same happiness that after we buy something we feel good, no, He replaces the thought, that these things of the world matter not. Why would we repeat something in vain, if we know what it leads to? I understand a stumble, but to repent, correct it, and follow Jesus who carried that cross for us. We all owe Him, the least we can do is worship Him the right way, righteously. Let the Spirit guide us to perfection, this is what God loves, us walking in a corrupt world righteously, devil hates this.

If you were lost you were not just thus if you are saved you become just

If we can live sin in this present world think Jesus would have died in vain

[h=1]1 John 1:7-10King James Version (KJV)[/h]7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Sin is never OK to God, at any time. But if you think that once saved you will be literally sin-free and never transgress in even one point then you have deceived yourself.

[h=3]1John.1[/h][8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
[9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

So your saying elect, it's impossible to walk as Jesus did... It's not I assure you, we will slip, not perfection to the t, we all fall short, I have sinned, probably worse then most, never murder even being stabbed and sliced, I can't kill that man, because he has a right to see it through, as do I. I could never play God and take life, but I wouldn't have cared if your children needed new shoes over this bag of drugs, I was wicked in the since I didn't care, "get the money" all that I cared about, all men (of the world) care about(money). There's a difference of cussing when we get mad, compared to murder or adultery... One can't say we're saved and go do what the world does, if your heart, mind and feelings haven't changed, I would tell them to keep praying a dedicated prayer, because their not saved.

Ezekiel 14:13-14King James Version (KJV)

13 Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:
14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God.

The bible says we are to ask for fogiveness of sins even Jesus who is your personal Saviour taught the Lords prayer

Why is asking for forgivness of sins is in the Lords prayer ? I am sure Jesus knew why He taught that prayer

As a sinner, we do what we want, as a follower of Christ, we do what He wants. He says live righteously, go and sin no more. He makes us strong that we can reject sin. If your constantly falling weak to the same problem, after being saved, I would tell that person pray for strength to overcome it. I still get angry from time to time, I repent, I'm working on that, so yes I've still sinned. We are not deaf, dumb, and blind though, and only God knows your heart, and what you will be held accountable for, I would say as Jesus said, go, and sin no more, not, it's ok, we're all sinners anyway, that's a wrong perception.
