This is a good example of why I don't call myself Christian. If I am, I don't need to tell you, you'll see by my fruits. I've watched half of this and when you look at what's going on in "churches" across America it is easy to understand why people sneer and turn up their nose at "Christians".

Folks, these people aren't serving God, but their own fleshly lusts. Why aren't prayers being answered? Because they ask amiss, that they may consume it upon their lusts. (James 4:3)

1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

it's no wonder that people are turning away from such absurd-performing-clowns,
they obviously don't know Jesus Christ, or they would have some sort of 'fear'
of consequences.

it is obvious who they are serving.

Because the word Christian has been applied to many who are no more Christian than the rocks in my driveway....Christianity has become a joke and a by word to describe self righteous hypocrites, and the hypocrisies of the people who name Jesus stinks up and taints biblical Christianity and the minority who actually walk according to the Spirit and the WORD....

Christianity is also used as a (trump) card on a regular basis and in many a situation....Like the actor or rock star busted in drugs or a porno ring...WELL I am a Christian blah blah blah....Or the famous person who lives like the devil, but wears a cross around their neck.....a modern day equal would be to wear a needle around your neck as it was a ROMAN form of capital punishment....or maybe the car with the bumper sticker of JESUS cuts off someone and then the driver flips them off....the end game is the simple fact that it has become a joke in society and evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse and God's people are falling away from the truth in favor of a worldliness and pseudo religion that has no real power anymore because of the indulgences of the people who name it!

Obviously there are those who are Christian so please EVERYONE this is NOT DIRECTED at those who are genuine in their faith....!

Well I have to admit I laughed throughout this video,as sad and serious as it is.Tilton was one of the biggest liars out there, not far behind is Benny Hinn.I do not support tv evangelists, nothing but show ponys and religious entertainers begging for money.Dont even get me started on TBN. Now when I watch the foolishness going on in that video I ask myself,is this what Jesus did? Did he"blow people over" or did he actually heal them of blindness and deafness etc. did he ever say "vow me a thousand dollars and I'll give you a new car, house, husband etc.?" Nope. Jesus was rich? The man who had no place to lay his head, was born in a stable and traveled to preach the gospel? What did he tell the rich young ruler? I mean did any of these tv guys read the Bible? I mean ever?! Non Christians are so shocked when I tell what I think of TBN et al. They associate us with these sharks. I make it very clear these are name only Christians. You can sit in the garage all day that dont make you a maserati my friend!

Try to minister gospel truths and see how big a crowd you get. Zero, zip, nada. So we sit, 2 gathered in His Name.

Pretty much a complete 100 percent lack of interest in the true gospel, Jesus, and Spirit.

I pray that it would get worse and worse and worse. Then some may wake up from their slumber and sleep.

Israel partied on until their enemies began streaming in unabated.

Thats where the 'church' is at at this juncture.

The people pretty much cried 'we will not serve God, give us a king. A Stallone, a Decaprio, an Elliot.'

All the folks were there for the fish and the loaves. Where were they when Jesus was had to stand alone?

Where were they when He faced down the religious charlatans?

Where are they today when He stands in juxtaposition with the charlatans?

I'll give you 3 guesses.

No doubt for sure.....makes me want to puke and spew.......I personally believe that only the Lord can determine and then call us a Christian....it seems the first time the term was used in Acts it was a term of derision and to be frank.....I would rather call myself a believer than associate myself with the modern day farce of so-called Christianity.....

Another thing is the fact that the WORLD lumps all of Christianity under the banner of a few RELIGIONS that name them selves as such, and that too is an error, because the major Christian RELIGIONS (So-called) are not biblical in their stance, and preach another Jesus than the one named and revealed in scripture!

.or maybe the car with the bumper sticker of JESUS cuts off someone and then the driver flips them off..
I am sure you know this joke, but it is all too common and more like an accurate portrayal of life.

A policeman pulls over a car, he asks driver for the usual ID and license details and carrys out the usual checks . T

The driver asks "why did you pull me over?",
cop replies "I thought your car was stolen, but I can clearly see that you are the owner.
"why did you think it was stolen?"
"well sir, I noticed all your Christians bumper stickers and your fish sign, so when I saw you wind down the window, shout insults at another motorist and make rude gesters with your hands, I became suspicious, then I saw you jump a red light and break the speed limit, so I thought that the car was stolen".
"Oh I see, well you know its not stolen so can I go?"
"Sorry sir, not just yet as I have to write you a ticket, the law does not exempt Christians from speeding and jumping red lights!".

When I was in high school my dad watched TBN constantly. As a result of this for the longest time I was an avowed atheist. It was like watching a freak show.

I had a brother behind me in his car. He didn't know it was me. Found out later he really got mad at me because I was only doing a couple of miles over the speed limit. Come on now everybody. Do any of you do the speed limit? ...gotcha! Smile.

Is not the fact there is so much false Christianity, that defames our Lord Jesus, all the more reason to be known as an authentic and obedient Christian, that our Lord be more properly represented in this sinful world?

Luke 11:33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

Luke 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God.

Dear Phill112,

Even though Christians do some pretty ungodly stuff that can cause the world to point fingers at us; Christ promise that they will hate us anyway.
We are to follow Christ's example and display HIS character, but just like Christ, its no guarantee that people will like us.
In fact, (and please take this statement in context) if the world likes us too much, we may need to double check our walk against the word of GOD.

Just saying.
