Yes. I do agree with you.. it is a great source of useful information!
Of course it is a great and useful source of information, that's why information is money to Governments, and internet spies. Look of Facebook for one thing, its a haven for information. yes people think they are on a good thing catching up on there frends they not spoken to for years and so on. but the information are collected for other gains without your knowing.
People like to talk, people will slip up and give out the information that the wrong people want to hear, then its collected, then guess what? your information is used for fraud, or to sell to private government, not forgetting the cold callers, how else are they getting your information about you to call you? Why does internet sites always never delete your information when you decided to leave the site? or they deactivate your accounts? You request them to fully delete everything from there site, but how many websites do you know that actually does? so you can see how much deception in the world today.
You can use websites, social networks or media's as safe as you think, But is it? The word privacy don't mean a thing no more on the internet. as today's internet has got rid of it. sop they deceive you into thinking you are safe, when they even CC is gathering information. Not saying that CC will sell the information but im sure you can see were I am coming from.
Security software is another. they all make you feel that its safe to use. and that they have spent millions on improving there security, down the line, you will hear on the news, that they or someone has breached the security and leaked out your information. they always blame hackers, yes a lot of hackers are at to blame, but not all. So as you see deception is everywhere you look.
