Kent Hovind... as soon as I mention his name I will get a number of different replies
-Kent Hovind's teachings are missleading and false
-Kent Hovind is an ignorant tax dodger
-Kent Hovind is a great man he helps uncover the lies in evolution
etc...

Personally I find him as some one who wants to help people open there eyes. But just as any human is he has his flaws he is imperfect just as every one else his. He didnt want to pay his taxes because he so strongly was against the use of tax dollars going to public schools so that they can teach evolution. Obliviously you can't get away with not paying your taxes for very long, even tho i agree with his statment I do not beilive i'm going to be that extreme. The thing i found about what he taught was that along with disclaiming evolution he showed how AMAZING God's creation was :D and i absolutly loved listening to him.

Now thats one opinion, my opinion. Now i want to hear yours :D

I think he is a funny teacher. Sure, he isn't a brilliant scientific mind, but he serves a purpose. Unfortunately the tax evasion thing didn't help his ministry in the least. With God's help, he can recover from it though.

A few Christmases ago, my family bought a 7 disc lecture series by Hovind for my brother. We ended up watching the whole thing with him after Christmas before he had to go back to work (he was on leave from the AF). Loved it. My favorite is his evolution of the silverware.
