Believers at some point been specialists at taking moral stances in theological instances, simply to revert their morality as their theological interpretation changes. When this occurs, they hastily affirm the correctness of the changed position. They are not the ones to apologize for dogmatically being wrong in the beginning. It’s ok to be wrong, eat humble pie and sustain the lessons from the Holy Spirit. And there is nothing wrong with that. If no one stands correct then the verbal violence amongst us on Chat will grieve the Holy Spirit Himself. If you can disengage from a debate or argument then do it with Joy and gladness not given in to unfruitful dialogs that produce division and enemies. And why should believers compliment sectarism when we are taught to forbear one another.

Colossians 3:13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

Be honest with yourself first....

Proverbs 10:9 He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known.

Mean what you say and allow others to caveat...

Matthew 5:37 “But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

When I tell someone about Jesus I honestly do not mean to come off as untruthful I do not want to be consider a false prophet of some sort because I know I am not a prophet. Jesus speaks to the heart so that's when I know it's true.. sometimes I do go off my own mind, but when it comes from my heart I know it's Jesus.

Amen brother! Im always wrong, Ive never been right. Jesus is my righteousness. Anything I tell others of Christ are the things I believe He taught me. Ive changed my mind many times over the years regarding presuppositions in doctrine.

Great post. Like bearens we should always pray and search scriptures for the truth of statements.

(Rev 19:10)
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

As long as your testimony is of Jesus Christ, your prophecy will always be true. For His Name is what the spirit of prophecy is.
