So now I am curious, and must ask: If you don't believe the bible why are you on this site?

Job 1:6,7 "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."

Mark 1:13 "And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him."

You think satan was in Christ's very mind? Really????
I do believe the bible, just was given a better interpretation of it.

Exodus 23

17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord God.

Psalms 122

122 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.

Jeremiah

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Genesis 2

2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

We met once at the foundation of the world. We met again at Christ's resurrection and we will meet again at the gathering of all things.
The only question should be what day was this in Job that the sons met in the year.

Hi Elect

An excellent question as we see so much suffering around us today. To understand why, I would like you to first imagine a classroom with a teacher and his students. The teacher solves a difficult problem on the board and but one of the students tells the teacher and class that he has a better way of doing it than the teacher, should that teacher tell him to keep quiet and just listen? Well if the teacher did do that, the whole classroom would wonder if the student could or couldn't and may lose respect for the teacher thinking that he was too scared or proud. If the teacher however knows he is right and gives the student a chance to try, it shows the classroom afterwards that the teacher did have the best way not the student.

Similar to this, Satan challenged God's sovereignty by calling him a liar and trying to withhold good from his subjects and said that mankind would be better off ruling itself. This is shown in Genesis 3:2-5 [SUP]2[/SUP]At this the woman said to the serpent: “We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden. [SUP]3 [/SUP] But God has said about the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden:+ ‘You must not eat from it, no, you must not touch it; otherwise you will die.’” [SUP]4 [/SUP] At this the serpent said to the woman: “You certainly will not die.+ [SUP]5 [/SUP] For God knows that in the very day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and bad.”

Why, though, has God allowed suffering to go on for so long? And why does he not prevent bad things from happening? Well, consider two things that the teacher in our illustration would not do. First, he would not stop the rebel student from presenting his case. Second, the teacher would not help the rebel to make his case. Similarly, consider two things that God has determined not to do. First, he has not stopped Satan and those who side with him from trying to prove that they are right. Allowing time to pass has thus been necessary. In the thousands of years of human history, mankind has been able to try every form of self-rule, or human government. Mankind has made some advances in science and other fields, but injustice, poverty, crime, and war have grown ever worse. Human rule has now been shown to be a failure.Second, God has not helped Satan to rule this world. If God were to prevent horrible crimes, for instance, would he not, in effect, be supporting the case of the rebels? Would God not be making people think that perhaps humans can govern themselves without disastrous results? If Jehovah were to act in that way, he would become party to a lie. However, “it is impossible for God to lie.”—Hebrews 6:18.

What, though, about all the harm that has been done during the long rebellion against God? We do well to remember that God is almighty. Therefore, he can and will undo the effects of mankind’s suffering. In Revelation 21:4, it speaks about God removing all the suffering and pain we see around us, which will happen extremely soon.

Remember that God also gave us a beautiful gift of having free will and not creating us like robots that must obey him. Just like a loving parent, he wants us to love him not be afraid of him. God created Adam and Eve to live forever and fill the earth. Although they disobeyed him, Gods purpose never changes and so the earth has been filled and the bible speaks about a time that certain ones will go to Heaven but a great crowd will also live forever but on earth.

I hope this answered your questions. If you have any more please feel free to inbox me :)

The devil had access to the garden before sin but sin in heaven first then why did God allow him back in eden where adam and Eve were

Did he create the lie? He is called the "father" of lies, and the best he could manage, in his attempt to be like God, was to "created" the lie.

Everyone in Heaven knew evil. Evil isnt so much as d opposite of good but good taken and manipulated into one selfish needs and desires. In Lucifer case-he didnt like d fact that God didnt counsel with him before making his plans. It was Him and Jesus 1st then tell everyone else. Lucifer was d second closest to God apart from Jesus. He know God more than any of his friends so....
The last time God told Satan he was going to get rid of him. Lucifer was surpise and admit defeat. Then God just laugh. God and Satan has a bond we humans will never understand.

It does tell you who Satan is.

He is the darkest and cruelest being in existence. He hates you with a burning desire to see the very worst happen to you. He laughs in the face of God as each and every person who rejects God is cast down. He takes pleasure in our pain, joy in our suffering, and smiles as we cry out for mercy.

And why does he do this? Because He wants to prove God wrong. That's it. Simple. He hates God.

Tell me, what more would you wish to know of this wretched creature? Because there is no reason to know more of him, especially after you have come to know Love Itself. Let him sit in the dark and scheme. Trust God, and serve God. For the Devil is beyond understanding, beyond knowing. You don't make nice with the mind behind serial killers, you don't befriend the creature that invented rape, you don't study the maker of sorcery. You reject him, fight against his plans, and trust God.
Can you point out exactly what he has done that is so horrible? What are the biblical accounts of these evil deeds? What's his body count? What did he do exactly according to the bible?

We have to stop looking at 'the garden' as a physical place, and more as a spiritual place. Remember with the trees we're dealing with KNOWLEDGE! The garden is the tranquility of the mind.

I know this is too deep for most but remember, our battle is an internal one if the kingdom of heaven is within us.

Maybe a deeper picture that often gets overlooked.......

1. God has a plan and that plan allowed for Satan, evil and sin.
2. MAYBE God wanted to give every spirit in his kingdom a chance to choose which kingdom and king that they wanted to follow
3. EVEN THE VERY SON OF GOD had to robe himself with FLESH and CHOOSE
4. Jesus was given the good things (butter and honey) at a young age that he might LEARN to CHOOSE the good over the EVIL.
5. The very first thing Adam and Eve were given was a CHOICE and what the results of that CHOICE would be
6. Joshua...CHOOSE who you shall serve
7. CHOOSE which father you will serve...Heavenly FATHER or the fallen father of sin!

The spirit that man has RETURNS unto GOD which GAVE it upon his death....
Study the word KNEW concerning JEREMIAH before he came forth from his mother's womb Jeremiah 1:5

Exodus 6:7 I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.

Exodus 7:17 This is what the Lord says: By this you will know that I am the Lord: With the staff that is in my hand I will strike the water of the Nile, and it will be changed into blood.

Exodus 8:22 “‘But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the Lord, am in this land.

Exodus 10:2 that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the Lord.”

Isaiah 41:13 For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Isaiah 45:5 I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me,

Hosea 6:6 For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.

I'm assuming that God is trying to get us to recognize whom He is. Eve didn't know whom He is because she had listen to the serpent over Him.

My understanding is that when Adam sinned, he gave his God-given dominion (reign on the Earth...remember man had dominion over creation..the cattle, fowls, etc..whatever Adam named the creatures, so they were called) over to the devil. So legally, the devil became the god of this world, what Adam once was. Due to this, God legally must put up with the devil's reign for a certain period of time until that period expires. That's what I've been lead to believe, anyway. It's not God's will for any to suffer or for the devil to reign, but in His goodness, He does not break spiritual law, and Adam legally gave over his rights to the devil when he sinned. It isn't God's will and He came to set the captives free from the oppression of the devil and will come back and put an end to the wickedness in this world and the devil will be destroyed forever in the Lake of Fire. That's why it says that God on His throne knows that "their day is coming"...the day when wickedness will cease when God returns.

Hello, My name is Bro. Chris.
This is a common question that really interest me, because so many people really want to know the truth. Now I truly thank God that Satan did what he did, because Satan was designed for that very purpose. Remember, in the beginning Adam and Eve had no choice. That had to obey God, and God wanted man to be free to choose if they wanted to serve him or not. Now Satan had been ejected from heaven and sin had already touched down on earth. Now the Word tell you God presented the choice before the choice-maker (Satan) came into the garden when he said, you can eat from all the trees but not off the tree of Good and Evil for the day you do you shall surly die. Satan came, man fell, but that was all the plan for Jesus to come to redeem us. If you weren't a Jew, you were considered to be a heathen, but Jesus came and closed that gap. *Thank you Lord* Satan has to get the okay to do anything. Hence the story of Job. So Satan is the one who presents the choices to do evil or not. And if you choose evil, his minions come in. He's a tempter. And remember The Word of God said, Satan is here to kill, steal, and destroy. So saints better get all the God they can, while they can because the day cometh that burneth like an oven.

Are you saying that satan got the okay to tempt Eve ?

Satan is the enemy. Christ is the Savior and has victory over satan and his dominions. Praise him always for his finished work.
Our God is God and greatly to be praised.

Sing unto the Lord, bless his name, shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among all the people. For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods......plsm 96:2 thu 4

Yes. Only God can give the okay. He couldn't even enter the Garden without God's permission. How can the creation be greater than the Creator?

No I'm saying God created the Devil to present choice. The bible says how can a weak man enter a strong mans house unless he lets him. The devil was tempting Jesus because God allowed him to.
