Is fear a sin? I'm just thinking, if it's a sin. And sin seperates us from God, then if I can stop worrying though meds, or whatever. Would that help out my relationship with God. I'm just wondering since, It seems like I'm not that close to God, or atleast not as close as I want to be.

Fear is natural. i dont think its a sin.. we shouldnt b afraid becouse our father is the king of kings and lord of lords . fear happens tho and we cants stop it

Fear of God is righteous. Fear of things which are dangerous is intelligent.
Fear imo is only a sin when it prevents us from doing that which God requires us to do. When it hinders us from following Him. Irrational fears, fears which consume us or hold us back, fears that we hold onto when God tells us to let them go, those to me are sin. There's no Bible verse saying "Fear is a sin." There a many Bible verses of God helping us and guiding us through our fear, but that doesn't make it a sin.

and a time to every purpose under the heaven"

Fear is not a sin --Jesus feared --but remember --- He gave it up to God --its a sin if you try to hold on tight and what you act on out of fear.

if

a

you
walk in VICTORY
and in POWER
NEITHER
of these
are
FEAR

perfect love casts out fear

therefore fear is the opposite of love
love is related to faith and hope
past, present,future = faith,love,hope

if you have fear you cannot have these three
