Hi. My name is Roxann. I live in Northern California. I'm 55, and married. I am curious who out there is going to VOTE tomorrow? {PLEASE SPEAK UP} I need direction, as I feel desperate to do the right thing, to vote Godly. But I have no idea who and what to vote, and have one day to learn. I am embarrassed to admit this, but at least I realized it before it was too late. HELP

Well, I know most would disagree with this, but in the last few years I have heard that we should vote for the lesser of the two evils....I.E. Both parties have things within their ranks that are contrary....Me, I have chosen to exercise option three, and that is to not vote as evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse and the world will go the way it is written in the scriptures...be in the world, but not of the world......Just my choice I suppose...at the end of the day if you choose to vote...vote for the party that is the most conservative and who ever has views that are more in line with biblical principles........just my two cents worth....!

I live in Ohio and will be voting tomorrow. My advice would be to vote for whatever/whomever you do know about and if you do not know the issue or person on the ballot then simply don't vote on that section. For example I intend on voting for Kasich as Governor due to the fact under his governorship the state has improved. As for most of the lesser offices (judges, etc.) I do not know anything about any of those people and so I will skip over them.

Don't be embarrassed, just vote Republican for every office. It is never to late to learn.

A good test at least for some of the higher offices (ie: Governor, Senator, Congressman) is to look up the stats for your state or district. If you have an incumbent running, evaluate if under their term of office if the stats have improved or declined and vote accordingly (can apply this concept to the local level as well.) If there is no incumbent running, then look into the background of the individual candidates.

The Republican Party platform is against abortion, gay marriage and big government. If you are a Christian those would be some things you'd probably be interested in knowing. If they dont keep to that platform vote them out the next time! IMO with ISIS on the move, the unsecured southern boarder and "free" health care that is a mess I'd say its time to get the other party a try and see what they come up with. This president is slow to make decisions and it has harmed the country. If you vote democrat you are voting for him and his policies.Personally I think everyone should vote.People have died to give us that right. If you have anymore questions let me know! I will help if I can.:)

The world will go the way as written, but why rush it? See you at the polls tomorrow.

I'm not voting. I don't see the Republicans as being any better than the Democrats. Both parties are dragging our country into the sewer so I refuse to bother with either of them.

Out of those three I would say they are only actively against the third, and then only in certain cases.

Well, I've always been told that if you don't vote, then don't complain about who is in charge..........

I'm voting regardless...... Men and women have fought and died for my freedom and right to vote,.....and no matter who wins....God is in control...........He already knows the outcome.

I don't think it matters how you vote at this point, God is in control.

This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones:
to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men,

and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

HAHAH while I appreciate your view bro.....You wont see me at the polls HAH! Truth be known...I could care less about the politics of the country.....and seeing how the embracement of sexual perversion and immorality is the last straw before judgment (Romans 3).....We are beyond the ability to change course as it is the final straw that breaks the camels back!

I'm just wondering what this has to do with discussing the Bible?

Because how you cast your vote depends on issues and what the Bible says about them. Abortion, gay marriage,Israels right to a homeland. All issues you cast your vote on on election day.Very involved in Bible discussion.

Seriously, this is about American politics, which has absolutely nothing to do with the Bible. Vote how you please, don't use the Bible Discussion Forum to push your politics!

PS. As much as Americans would like to believe otherwise, America is never mentioned in the Bible! So how you vote is not going to influence the return of Jesus, or reaching the world for Christ!

WOW!! What is it with Canadians and their nasty remarks in posts today?! No one is pushing politics,I was speaking to the OP who asked a question, not to you.And I just said what it has to do with the Bible. The same as it does in Canadian politics. The issues are the same.Canada isn't mentioned in the Bible either,so what? Do you have something against your American brothers and sisters in Christ, cause it sure sounds like you do! My vote may not influence the return of Jesus but it does influence what happens in this country and affects our lives and our childrens.America has done as much to reach the world for Christ as Canada has, possibly more than any other nation. On top of that people have shed blood for my right to vote and freedom of speech!!So since this is a discussion forum and the OP asked a question about how to vote Im going to answer it.If you think its pushing politics, dont read what I have to say.You Canucks need to take a chill pill today.Wow!
