I would also add that He is the God who made a covenant with His chosen people. And just like flamingspirit added, His chosen people, His Israel is now every person who believes in Jesus Christ and becomes part of the New Covenant.

the Creator & Sustainer of all things, higher than every power and every spirit, who formed and gave life to every creature - there is no 'god of this village' and 'god of these things' but there is one God, above all else, and He is the God who revealed Himself to the Jews long ago, and then sent Jesus Christ, His only Son and living avatar, to make peace between Himself and mankind.

The only God of creation has revealed Himself in it

Anyone who truly seeks Him can find Him there and He will lead you into all truth

.... but you have to diligently seek Him with pure motive

Who, by definition, tends to refer to a person, in which context most would say Jesus is who God is. If you have another connotation in mind, please elaborate. :)

God is not a who, a person or a thing. God is Spirit. God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. Both God and the Word (who became Christ) have existed eternally and before all else. God has always existed. Before there was a universe, there was God. God is everywhere. David said in Psalms, "where can I go from your spirit." God is everywhere - in the known and unknown universe. And the spirit of God is infinite. Also, God is Love.

God is a person! Three in fact! Father, Son and Holy Spirit! God is our Creator, our Saviour and he has the power to transform our lives!
