It is always a sin to engage in sexual activity with someone you are not lawfully married to. It is called adultery. Read what Jesus said:

But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matt 5:28 RSV

[20] And he said, "What comes out of a man is what defiles a man.
[21] For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, fornication, theft, murder, adultery,
[22] coveting, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, foolishness.
[23] All these evil things come from within, and they defile a man." Mark 7:20-23 RSV

Be aware that it is a sin for a man to marry a man or a woman to marry a woman. Again, read what Jesus had to say:

[6] But from the beginning of creation, `God made them male and female.'
[7] `For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
[8] and the two shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two but one flesh. Mark 10:6-8 RSV

Satan, of course, wants us to believe otherwise, and he is extremely subtle in his dealings with us:

Now the serpent was more subtle than any other wild creature that the LORD God had made. Gen 3:1a RSV

Between the powerful attraction of sexual lust and the subtle influence Satan tries to exert on us, sexual lust is an easy trap to get caught in. Don’t let it happen to you.

We frankly live in a world where between the internet, cable, the way women dress and the magazines available, men can get an eye full everywhere they go. Even women get caught up in it. We need a strength only God can give to help with all the temptations.

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of the world

Yes, pray without ceasing. Walk and talk with the Lord throughout the day and night, every day. If you're tempted, FLEE!! Run from the situation, get AWAY from whatever is tempting you. Temptation is not a sin. But constantly dwelling on temptation will keep you from hearing the Lord's Voice.

Let's be real. Whether or not women are dressed in full length burqas & niqabs (veils) and men are wearing bulky spacesuits and helmets, if someone is in bondage to lust, they will find an outlet to indulge in it. Jesus walked this earth without blinders on His eyes. We need to view people as Christ Jesus views them. The older women as mothers, the younger women as sisters, the men as brothers. And God is Father of us all.

Our relationship with Jesus Christ must be a reality to us in order to walk in freedom from sin. We gotta share every single thought and hope and dream and fear and need with Jesus Christ so that He will know us and we will know Him intimately. Jesus is Who is going to keep you from sin. The reality of your relationship with Jesus Christ. We do not want to commit adultery against HIM. The Savior is the Groom and we, the church, are the Bride.

That is more of a reality than any other relationship you will ever be involved in. We need to nurture our relationship with Jesus Christ more than we do with any other.

Lets keep it real. Only way to deal with this is with a full relation ship with Daddy. And when that happens You wont two time Him.

Richie, don't be so rude! Free-To-Be is new here. He doesn't know where or how to search for threads on this subject. Instead of being rude, you should have told him how to search for this subject in other threads.. *punches Richie's arm* :)

Free-To-Be, in the right hand top corner there is a tiny search box which says "advanced search" below it. Type in the subject your looking for, press enter, and alot of results will come up. From there you can choose which thread to comment on. :)

perhaps CC would benefit an auto search on subjects, like you type a word in and it will show threads reagrding that word. then at least then, people will see the threads that covers before they post a thread. incase its a repeated thread. But its good that people are posting threads, but sometimes it can be like a stuck record sort to say when you see yet another repeated thread just asked or titled different. So Im sorry if you took me wrong and rude. but thats what I was trying to say. remember we dont know people are new unless they say, or if we look at your profile. so I wasnt to know you are new to CC. But welcome to cc Free-to-be.
