Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless His Holy Name.

Praise God from whom all blessing flow, praise Him all creatures here below, Praise Him above ye heavenly host, Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.... Amen

My lips will praise You for You are holy, my voice will ever rise before Your throne, my heart will love You for You are lovely and You have called me to become Your own.

Dad just want to thank You for another blessed Sabbath day and to come apart and spend time with You and praising You for the blessings You have given to me. Thank You for changing my life and putting me on a path that leads to You and leads Home. Please come Lord Jesus and take us Home. Amen

Lots of people wishing others a happy Sabbath today - a Saturday. Which branches of Christianity have their Sabbath on a Saturday?

I meant which denominations.
Speaking of denominations, I could get into a long discussion about divisions among us. Why are there so many denominations? Are we not all under the same God? There is only one God so it's kind of like saying, this is our Christian God, this is our Baptist God, this is our Methodist God, why do we divide ourselves up when all we need is the word of God to lead us to salvation united not divided. It reminds me of our Government, that's why things are so screwed up in this country and the world around us because we can not come together under the single banner of Christ and God the Father who sent Him to us to redeem us all who repent. Sorry I will get off my soap box now. LOL God bless.

I meant which denominations.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,
which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God,
and the faith of Jesus.

As no one seems to want to answer my question...or are they afraid of repercussions ;) I went ahead and googled it.

My dear you are asking something that I wonder all the time. I refuse to belong to a denomination I am simply a Christian, I have beliefs from all sorts of branches of Christianity but I think it pointless to belong to a certain denomination as I have seen how often other denominations attack each other. Have you been to the bible discussion forum? that is my prime example

Shhh! That's a secret.
I do not have a home church at this time, so i did not answer what denomination i was.

But i do keep the seventh day sabbath, not the lords day, as the bible tells me so to do.

I wasn't trying to stir-up controversy between denominations. It was a basic question asked out of curiosity - nothing more.

I don't consider myself any particular denomination either. I'm a Christian and that's as far as it goes - I don't feel allegiance to any particular church just because I happen to worship there, I like the style of worship and the teaching does not stray from the Bible and for that reason alone I attend that particular church BUT if I found something better I would not hesitate to go.

I don't know of any particular church in my city that has their services on a Saturday...my only reason for asking which denomination it was.

I meant which denominations.
Messianic Jews believe in Jesus as the Messiah but they still hold to some Jewish traditions. One being the keeping of the Sabbath on saturday.

One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike.
Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.
Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord.

(Romans 14:6)

i could argue about laws and days and words and all..
or i could say
"shabbat shalom, y'all!" :)
