Sometimes God says my grace is sufficient! Sometimes healing is in or lips just like the miracle is in our mouth! We are just so afraid to open our mouth! Unless we are debating or arguing that is why many are still in a sickly condition. But Yes God does still heal, can still heal, and will still heal but all things in God are based on conditions we must meet the conditions to be benefactors of the blessings.Just a few thoughts

Very true, and I certainly believe in the power of prayer for the sick..........seen it work many times. But for one to say that God does not EVER use a Doctor to heal someone is just plain silly............The Holy Spirit imparts gifts as He will, and "healing" is one of those gifts...........
“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.” (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
Throughout Scripture we see where God uses different peoples to accomplish His will here on earth........to flatly exclude Doctors from this is so very ignorant.........goodness..........
Anyway, you are correct........many are not healed because they do not have the faith to ask for healing, and to seek healing. Anointing, laying on of hands, and praying over is surely one way to receive both physical AND spiritual healing...........but one can also seek Medical treatment and still be in keeping with God's Word and Will...........well, that may just be me......so.....

yes it is, but i do believe its more private than open, i had a cyst in my head, he healed, had severe back pain, he took care of that also, a preacher friend had cancer, an while he was preaching he felt power of the lord heal him.... so yes the lord heals... not to give man the glory, but for him. i dont think a man has to hit me in th head an say your healed, or send in money for a healing cloth... thats not right.. healing come through prayer, of the one needing it, an other prayer warriors.

Do you think I haven't been prayed for by believers many times? God's answer was NO! I am content, in fact overjoyed to know Christ, and to serve him.
Try reading the whole Bible, with fresh eyes, and see how Jesus is what the gospel is all about!

1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God., that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
Can't earn what has been freely given. When we think we must do more for God to bless us, or that we must pay the price for it., God cannot give it to us based on our works because if it is by works, it is no longer by grace. When we try to work for it, we frustrate the grace of God and make light of Jesus' work on Calvary.
The main scriptures.. Acts 2... Ephesians 4.. 1 Corinthians 13.
Acts 2 explains about the Holy Spirit empowering His early churches and the first instances of speaking in toungues.. Ephesians 4 about their being a point a which christians come into the 'unity of the faith'.. 'the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ' .. not being 'carried about with every wind of doctrine'.
The bible fits theses descriptions as 'unity of the faith'.. 'measure of the stature..' and allows Christians to 'not be carried about with every wind of doctrine'
1 Corinthians 13.. has a similar structure.. of christians speaking forth God's Word 'in part'.. but then the 'part' is swallowed up by 'that which is perfect' or the 'perfect thing'
So God was revealing His Word through prophecy and tongues etc.. forming His churches and His Word. Word complete... work done.. tools put down. These tools were the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Except for faith hope and love.
What was in part then? Scripture. What was completed not long after the writing? Scripture.
So I am backing up what I am saying.
As for some parts of scripture not applying to today? Well that's just common sense. God promised He would never flood the whole world again.. manifested the promise with a rainbow. The Old Testament covenant was ended with the NT... fulfilled in Jesus.
So there should be no problem with saying what the apostles did .. some of it we may not be able to do.

It remind me of my Junior high classmate. His family was chines traditional religion. His dad was my dad friend.
His dad was paralyzed. He was in the hospital for a month. Finally they bring it home.
His cousin is christian and know a preacher who have a gift of healing. He ask his uncle if he want to invite the preacher.
He agree. Then the preacher come and said. I am not a healer, Jesus is. He create the universe, do you think is hard for Him to heal you? The man answered of course no.
Than the preacher said nothing to hard for Him, the problem is did He is please or not. I am going to ask Him and if He said yes you must walk.
The man agree. Then the preacher pray. He said Jesus want you to walk. The man ask the member of the family to help him to stand. But the preacher said: don't you said if He ask you to walk you will walk? why ask help from human?
Than the man walk and my friend said he walk since then. When he about to be baptized, He get a colds. But he had a faith, The man said when he immerse to the water, he fell the water warm and he heal instantly.

No you stand on satans lie. as do the people who prayed for you. Faith moves the monutian. FACT. The mountian never moved fact. so there is no faith. Thats the only reason the mountian never moved in your life. Nothing else.
