Yahweh can do anything, if it is HIS WILL. Yes I believe Yahweh will heal people in modern times, with that said there is much deception and demons do deceive, and I would not be shocked if some "blessings" or even "hearings" were from... questionable sources.

I believe God heals today, but sometimes people try to take credit for God's miracles in order to gain power and recognition for themselves instead of glorifying God.

God still heals people today. However, he does NOT heal EVERYONE. As another poster stated, he heals according to HIS will, not ours. We don't get to understand why he may heal you, and not me. :)

2 Corinthians 12:, " [SUP]7 [/SUP]or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. [SUP]9 [/SUP]But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. [SUP]10 [/SUP]That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Yes, God heals today just like yesterday. "The prayer of faith will save the sick".
James 5:13
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

So God says what I do for one I will do for all. I haver no favourites. And there is no shadow of shifting in me.

If that is true and it is. If he heals one he will heal all. I believe God heals all today.

God is also called God that heals.
And He is the same yesterday, today and forever Amen.

Paul thorn was not sickness why would you add something to the bible that is not in it. Read the previous verses. It was a messanger of satan. Where in scripture ir a thorn prick ever used as sicness, now where. He just listed all that happened to him and you the say it was sickness. You can not add what is not there.

God will eventually give all His children new bodies but while we are in these temporal homes, we age, die and suffer with the rest of creation:

Romans 8
[h=3][/h][SUP]18 [/SUP]For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [SUP]19 [/SUP]For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. [SUP]20 [/SUP]For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; [SUP]21 [/SUP]because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. [SUP]22 [/SUP]For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. [SUP]23 [/SUP]Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. [SUP]24 [/SUP]For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? [SUP]25 [/SUP]But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

sometimes God heals in ways that we don't expect. Sometimes taking people home is healing them. It has always been this way. Remember the paralytic that they lowered through the ceiling? What did Jesus heal first, his physical ailment or his spiritual state? Paul's thorn is generally thought of as being a sickness, poor eyesight is what is quoted most. There is no proof he was speaking of anything else.

You are correct.
Compare w/salvation ....we never say "it is not his will to save because some will be lost"
Same with healing. Healing is across the board.

So I will be needing scripture for your God heals and sometimes He takes them home? The paraletic was healed full stop. Jesus healed ALL alway.

I have no time for what people generally think. Please give a scripture stating it was a sickness. There is none. There is no proof saying it was sickness. There is proof telling what it was. I already gave it. Show me a single scripture saying thorns were attributed to sickness. Pauls thorn was a messenger of satan. It was the beatings, ship wrecks. whippings jailing left for dead etc.

Jesus never relied on doctors.

Plenty of evidence if you get out of normal churches.
If you are lacking evidence its because you are not healing them. Get out and lay hands on the sick.

This is what doctors are doing daily.
You go to a doctor and you will need faith.
So if you look at American doctors for instance. Medical error - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

God does still heal today through His Holy Spirit that He gave to us who believe in the Lord.
The thing that people must understand is that the healing is a gift not given to all who follow Him, and the healing is only done to fulfill the Lord our Gods will.

Meaning if He knows healing a person will bring others to come and love Him, He will do it; but if not healing a person and letting them die do to that disease or attack on them will serve His purpose to bring others to Him then that is what will be done.

Example: The girl at Columbine who was killed do to not denying the Lord. God could have protected her, and kept her from being killed. But got did not intervene and let her be killed, and the result in that was that 1,000's more came to know and love the Lord their God do to her showing of faith.
