No

Only inadvertently by pollution generation .... but this has a minor effect overall

Cloud seeding can have the same, but very minor

Only the Lord can move in this arena ..... big time if He wants, but what He has set in motion overall shows a consistency over long periods of time

I believe we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us...

...IF it is according to His will and for His glory. I know that if God puts on our heart to do a thing, we absolutely can do it in His name.

Can we play Supreme Weather Forecaster and command the weather to our own will like a magician? Not a chance. :D

Unless you can control earth's orbit, earth's tilt on it's axis, sunlight exposure on earth's surface, air pressure, moisture, humidity, jet streams, etc.., then....no.

Once in Arkansas it had been 100 F. plus for weeks on end with no cloud in sight and I prayed for God to send rain and cool it off and within one hour thunderstorms came up, poured and then rained for three days and dropped the temps by 30 degrees F. for about a week.....take it as you will...

I also get on my knees and face and pray everytime I plant food plots for deer and turkeys and when I am right with the Lord it seems to rain and cause the seed to grow....take this one as you will as well....

Regardless....I will pray for the rain and if it rains it is God's will and if it rains not it is God's will...either way the will of God is taking place......!

Yes. Here is how I make downpours:

1. Go some place on a cloudy day with a long walk from the parking lot.
2. Tell yourself, "Nah, won't need the umbrella."

Things are getting bad, but the Lord has not thus far ordained severe drought, commanded me to carry an umbrella at all times.

I did not try it myself, because I would not "test the Lord my God" unless there was a danger from a tsunami or something alike and I'd pray for lives to be saved.
I have a sister in Jesus whom I love very much and she lives truly in Him and I know that God blessed her crops while there was drought all around... but she didnt ask Him to. I think He does it because she is so thankful for everything. However, once there was an immense storm with hail coming and she and her mom prayed and it changed the direction...

Ok Was Jesus a man on earth? Yes .
Did Jesus have any advantages over us? No Other than He knew who He was in God. As we learn Who we are in Christ.
If Jesus had advantage over us He could not tell us to do what He done.
Did Jesus commaned the weather? Yes. And it obeyed Him.
I know many people with testiminies of commanding the weather. Not praying as some mentioned here already. Commanding coming from knowing who you are in Christ.

Like I always say people talk from there experiance of nothing happening. Do you have any scriptures for it not being under our control. You know I got them. :) I have many. Aw Jesus your so good. I love this. Thank you Father that you love us more than we understand. Bless you Lord.
I just want to see if any here understand who they are in Christ and why it does work.

In 1999 while living in a very old house in Malvern, AR, a tornado outbreak swept through the state. The radio let us know one was coming to our neighborhood. We discovered the lid of the storm cellar under the house was covered with a cord of firewood, so we went to the kitchen where the most wood surrounded us. I began tossing plates and silverware into the pantry so they wouldn't become projectiles. My wife looked out the window saying "What am I looking at?" It was a huge green swirling ball full of lightning rolling into our yard. From the damage happening around it we realized there wasn't hope of getting through it. Right then she stepped to the door, swung it open, and commanded with finger pointing to it "In the name of Jesus go over us and leave us alone." Immediately it rose up and passed over without harm. She has always been a virtual prayer warrior, her first project to get me saved 23 years earlier, a major miracle, as she married me unequally yoked. We learned to pray more inclusively, as it came right back down in the street and removed all the ancient oaks lining it, the fire hydrant, the poles, and dozens of neighbor homes were destroyed. We could see a mile across town where formerly we had only a view of roofs. Some burst trees contained an arsenal of civil war weapons, uniforms, meal packs that had been stuffed into hollow cavities that were recovered and put in museums. We had to abandon the house due to news there would be no utilities until after the cleanup, projected to take months. We've been watching the weather since then, and whenever radar shows danger coming to us, we pray it away. The maps show storm after storm splitting, each side going around us. We've taught prayer classes a long time, telling that, and have never heard of a single family adopting "preemptive prayer" as we call it, some saying "hedge building", suffering storm damage. That of course extends to any other threat they face in life. The "hedge" principle comes out of Satan's challenge in
Job 1:10 (KJV) [SUP]10 [/SUP] Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

We just got back from Italy...2 weeks. The forecast was rain and more rain....bring a rain coat. My wife and I prayed for clear weather and nice climate. On one day a little bitty sprinkle came, nothing to right home to sister Sue about. Not enough to swallow your pork rinds with. The rest of the 2 weeks....perfect. Yea I believe prayer works.

This was some sort of vacation I take it: you neither farm or live in Italy? So, are you certain your sight seeing wishes trumped the needs of Christian Italian farmers, who could have used the rain? When you prayed for no rain, was this taking into account your neighbor?

No, but the technologies that be, Can.

Have you tried it and what were the results?
I do believe that we can pray, beseech God but then leave to 'Thy Will be done'.

I'm praying that it won't snow Wednesday & Thursday here as they're predicting 6-10'' and people up here normally travel much to see family on this Thursday. Dad and I don't have to but others in my family and this area do. All the food for a mass amount of company has already been bought by most of these out-of-towners and most women start early and I feel sorry for them.

Do men help with Thanksgiving much?

Yes, it does seem to. I'll never wash a car during the growing season, until receiving a check from all the local farmers.

Why are you concerned about the farmar when you think commanding weather is a joke?
One minute you dont believe it. and now you are concerned for the farmer?

I was on a business trip at Lake Tahoe NV and it was in April at a Company conference most of the snowing was pretty much done. I prayed that God would let it snow as I do love it and a group of us were going to go snowmobiling and we did it in a snow storm. Later I mentioned to one of the guys I had prayed for snow and he said to me....Do you really think God made it snow just for you? I said maybe not but all I know is that I was talking to Him and praising Him for the snow fall and having a nice conversation with Him while we were out on that ride. It was a very special time with Dad that's all I got to say about that.

If you dont believe in comanding the weather you will never see it.
If you dont believe we lay hands on the sick and the recover you will never see.
If you dont believe we raise the dead you will never see it.
If you dont believe we can cast out demons you will never see it.
If you dont believe any of the above you dont believe the bible.

You all preach scripture. Do you believe it?
