Why have we quit standing up for whats right?

It amazes me anymore what goes on in this world without seeing any Christians protesting about it. Like this Lady Ga Ga incident where she thanks God and gays in the same breath, almost as if she's saying the two are comparably equal. This sickened me because its like saying thanks to God and sin in the same breath. I wish we still had a voice in this world and could take her off the radio.

I think you don't see a christian response because there isn't really a big christian media platform. The best you will probably get is a comment from someone on Fox News. The world controls the media.

This is only a few passages that say we have not the control to stop the world and its demise. Perhaps this is why so few Christians feel not led to stand up in the political arena. In the end, the results will be the same. However, that does not excuse Christians from doing God's Will!!!



It could be this present generation of so much wickedness or it may be at some time in the future, we just don't know. But those who have ears, let him hear. God has granted Satan to make warwith the saints at the end of this age and I suppose the closer to the end of this present world, Satan and the demons are working even harder and faster than ever before. So put on the full armor, we are in a real battle, but we already know how the war will end. Show your life is different from the world and those who are truly His sheep will hear His voice and follow Him. God will not accept those in the end who are just getting life insurance policy for the fire.


However there are a few passages that tell us what we are to be doing.

1. Galatians 6:9
   And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

I have heard of her, but I'm not familiar with her music. I'm not certain that we are called to resist the evils of this world by taking a firm stand in opposition against each one, but there are some times when we should express our opinions, especially against government supported immorality. Our lives and our words are our testimony against the wickedness of this world. Our individual lives should be lived in clear contrast to the world around us. There is no instruction to avoid the world altogether, but we must be purposeful in our interactions with the world.

Parents must also be prepared to limit activities and to help their children to avoid philosophies which provide young Christians with a false sense of Christian liberty, as many proclaim an era of tolerance, which for some is actually compromise in disguise.

I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to. If she's just thanking them both what's wrong with that as long as she doesn't condone gay marriage.
