When is the end?

Of course no one can know. I have always said it will occur shortly after the word has been delivered to all the world, and indeed, at that point God will know who rejects Him and who welcomes Him.

Ran across this little tidbit and that thought crossed my mind again. Clearly these people don't know who Christ is. Maybe we should keep our eyes on this little bit of land and see if further attempts are made to contact these people. Quite amazing that in this day and age they are still isolated completely.

The North Sentinel Island is home to the Sentinels, a small tribe who is noted for vigorously resisting attempts of contact by outsiders and has inhabited the island for thousands of years. The island is completely untouched by modern civilization and its inhabitants kill any outsiders who try to get too close to their land. No one has ever gone or left this island without fleeing immediately or being slaughtered by the Sentinelese upon arrival. They drive off fishermen, journalists, anthropologists and government officials with their spears and arrows.

The angel of the Lord does fly through the midst of heaven proclaiming the everlasting gospel to those who dwell on earth and it does say that time will be no more a the sounding of the 7th trump in Revelation as found in chapter 10:6-7

My View 7th trump

Day of the Lord commences as Jesus seizes control of all earthly kingdoms
Day of Christ commences with resurrection/change and rewarding of saints, prophets and those who fear God
Day of God commences as he pours out his wrath on the lost world gathered under the beast and his kingdom

The end has been happening ever since Paul wrote his letters.

The North Sentinel Island is an easy island for Jesus to reach. Maybe He has, and they have not received. It doesn't always take a missionary. I have a Jewish friend who did not believe in Jesus until He appeared before her in her garden one day and spoke to her in a vision (real?). All she knows is that he did and she began her life of believing in Him and becoming a Christian who glorifies Him in everything she does.

Nothing anyone (or any Christian) had ever said to her reached her. But HE did.

Just pray. Jesus has His own way of appearing, and speaking to hearts.

The name is funny primrose , churches today lead people down primrose lane ... get it, prime rose lane ? get it ??? Hard to reach them. Primrose, get it ??? anyway. I'm going to post a video study or two related to the thread in another thread later. Look for it.

It will end when Jesus comes back, however we don't know when, and its not up to us to figure times dates and days as to when Jesus will come, But we need to accept what it says in the word, that he will come like a thief in the night, no on, not even the angels know when he will return. But all we can go on, is that he is coming, and he will come when he comes, no matter how people think he is coming this day or that, or he may come around this time or that. He will come when he comes,.

Actually, Phil, I don't believe the Scriptures say we can't know. When questioned about the day and hour of His return He said, no one has known. He used the Greek perfect tense which speaks of a past event whose result continues until the present (when Jesus said it). His words don't address the future. I believe the Scriptures do tell us when the end will be Scripture indicates that man will be under the curse for 6000 years. Leviticus gives us the length of Israels 2nd exile, or the 'times of the Gentiles.' I believe that the current exile is drawing to an end and that the 6000 years are almost up.

Paul also told the church at Thessalonica that it was not in darkness that that day should overtake them as a thief 1st Thessalonians 5:1-4 and Jesus told his disciples that when they (the disciples alive when the end of the age comes) shall see the signs listed in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 begin to come to pass that they should look up for their redemption draweth nigh....

The Lord's churches are not in darkness and can see the signs of the times and know that the day is near for sure!

Yes we are to look out for the signs of end times and things like that, But not assume, or make assumptions as to when the day, date and time, as to when Jesus will come back. It clearly states that no one will know, So why are we guessing?, or trying to find out? or trying to work out the days and times? Jesus is coming back, there is no doubt about it. and I think people should prepare for his coming. As He will come when he is ready.

Exactly! Why people trying to work things out, and devote there lives trying to find out, when it clearly states He will come like a thief in the night, No one not even the angels will know. People are wasting there time and effort trying to know God's plans. Jesus said he is coming back soon. That should be sufficiant information alone. Believe or don't believe. It's as simple as that.
