I believe we are all set up for the antichrist to reveal himself in the USA. The economy is collapsing,moral values are out the window,people will not put up with sound doctrine,role models are almost nonexistent and we already are trying to rid all nuclear warheads so the United States will be the powerhouse. A microchip is already being used on dogs so we know where they are at all times and that is what Satan wants to know about humans. Everything is in place for the end all we need is the antichrist to appear on the scene. I think he will come from the United States, like a president who want to control all the worlds religions,and money which they are already are trying to unite into one religion and one currency. Isn't it unique we are called United States, no nothing is by chance, we often think as Americans its us verse them. What are your ideas on this?

My eschatological views are somewhere on the fence between futurism (the popular view of Antichrist, rapture, tribulation, etc) and orthodox preterism (that Jesus returned in judgment in 70AD, the fall of Jerusalem), so I can't really say for certain as I don't think I can argue effectively for either view... but I do know that times are definitely looking scary in America and the world. Best thing we can do is just stay very, very attentive to our surroundings right now and concentrate on being found worthy in our servitude to God Almighty.

I do wonder why so many are convinced america will have "everything" to do with the end times... are really americans really so proud they think they are on top of the world in every matter?

I fear the EU more than the US

I would say exactly the opposite. We are hardly proud anymore, especially, when we are starting to see that we may be the lamb that is like a lion that is spoken of in Revelations. How can admitting that I think the antichrist will spring forth from America be pride. It shames me that we have fallen this hard it does not give me pride so give me a break before jumping down my throat thank you.

Just saying that as soon as anything large is going on the US(usually the government though, not you living there) will come and meddle in it.

Thats because money is the root of all evil as the bible says and what other Country is as greedy as the USA. Our government could spring forth the antichrist as a solution to our economic downfall right now and people would probably accept him. Especially if he brought all other nations under us, look we are already trying to rid all other nations of their nukes that way we would bring about a false peace but we would have all the power.Thats all I am saying. When I say we I mean people in high places in our government not the common every day people we have no rule really.

Probably my most "unorthodox" or "unusual" view regarding the end times has to do with USA. I think we will be part of the alliance of nations from the east. I think we will throw our hat in with China and India. I think that Great Kraw is right about Assyrian blood in the veins of the antiChrist. I think that the false prophet will possibly be Greek Orthodox. I believe that the ten kings that give power to the antichrist will be political, economic and social leaders. I believe (in this I am perhaps most traditional) that the empire of the Antichrist will be European. I believe that there will be a southern alliance of African and Latin american nations. I believe that the AntiChrist is the sixth of seven, that five times since Christ, Satan has raised a great Antichrist, Hitlar being an example. I believe that the harlot, like the bride, is a people that transcends national boundary--as much economic and political as religious. (By the way, I believe that the church is a people) I believe that what once the enemy (Satan) did in secret, he will have no need to hide. I believe that the mark of the Beast is a mark that can be seen and that it will not be forced upon people nor can one take it accidently. I believe that taking the mark will be the equivilent of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. I believe that there will be a "taking up". I believe that we spend too much time arguing over when it happens.
