When Was Jesus Born?

Jesus began His earthly ministry at the age of 30. Since it went on for 3 1/2 years before being crucified, it is safe to say that He was 33 1/2 at the time of His death. And by this reckoning, we conclude (as the crow flies) Jesus was born about 33 1/2 B.C. - that being After Death became A.D. (zero, but there is no zero).


Interesting footnote: How schools have taken B.C. (Before Christ) and changed it to Before The Common Era. What in this upside-down world do they claim is common when it comes to era? I guess that's what they get when buying into the Evolution Religion (yes, a religion, it takes great faith to believe that nothing exploded and here we are).

And I had meant that the son of man is referring to the righteous, and which Jesus has said that He has prepared a place (realm) for them, and so He hasn't establish the tabernacle, yet; Remember, Peter was the first stone that the Pharisees had rejected as being one of them, and then there is going to be many stones appearing to help establish His temple.

That must be the spirit you get from using the OTHER GOSPEL. That is, man's gospel. You might try to obey the real gospel, the Gospel of Jesus which will actually get you the Holy Spirit...

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Yea, my post was just a joke. It's pretty clear that the origin of the date of Christmas has more to do with the winter solstice than the birth date of Christ. If we look at the birth of John the Baptist in connection to when his father was serving in the Temple, and then calculate from Johns birth to Christ's, it seems clear that Jesus was born on one of the High Holy days of spring.

I think it must have been in 4BC. Couple of reasons. I already posted about the decree in 457BC and the 483 years, but also, the Passover was on a Wednesday in 31AD. This works for three days and three nights in the tomb.
