Okay, so I know as grow older as a Christian my tastes in what I do will change. But I'm curious if the very important things to me right now will change to the point where I don't even want to do them anymore. I mean I know that I'll have less time and they will seem less important to do those things as I grow as a Christian. I'm just curious if I'll totally stop liking those kinds of things. I think it's a reasonable question to ask right now since I've been trying to grow so much lately. Btw, I'm talking about anime and video games.

You will develop new interests, as you grow older, and might lose interest in other things, I would think. I’ve developed an interest in golf, while I’m less interested in baseball, for instance. I no longer listen to music on a stereo. I’ve developed an interest in history and biography. I began a hobby, fifteen or twenty years ago of writing novels—haven’t gotten any published yet.

We all change as we get older. One day you'll be playing outside with your kids I think.

I used to play video games and watch anime almost every waking hour. It slowed down when I got a job, and then a girlfriend, and then got closer to God. I still enjoy doing those things, but I haven't done them in months. The older you get the more you have to decide how to spend your precious time. As you grow as a Christian you'll want to spend a lot of that time with God. As long as your hobbies aren't sinful though, I don't think you'll ever lose interest in them.

I agree with everyone else, as you get older your preferences change, mind you, when you have kids it is a great excuse for playing video games...lol ;)

as you grow older in Faith (doesn't mean age) somethings will change, I've noticed even a lot of the secular music I liked I really won't listen to now.. but some I still do.

But yeah its great having kids, gives you a great excuse to buy all those toys :)

I started liking anime only a few years ago, I only like two shows I love the music,

I used to play lots of video games and now I rarely play they are fun but take too much time. I think you will lose interest and find new things to be interested in.

I used to be consumed with gardening but now my older brother is into it. My older brother used to be into collecting rocks and fossils and Indian artifacts, he read lots of books too. Now my youngest brother is collecting rocks and he never used to do that. Now I read lots of books. It seems we switched to each other's interests to some extent.

I never was into the computer but when I got serious with this woman I started that hobby as well and got my driver's licence and go out to eat every weekend (thats one of my hobbies eating)

When you hang around people they rub off on you, when you hang around God, He rubs off on you.

I absolutely hate anime lol. Too over the top for me, it's like a bad stage actor overdoing it. :p But I love me some vidja games!
