We should agree that God loves us unconditionally no matter what and wants the best for us :)
Amen to that...Agape=unconditional LOVE...For God so loved the World (cosmos) that he gave his only begotten son......

And that He ascended and is now seated at the right hand of the Father
Amen that that as well and I agree...He sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us.....

In a round about way I started this thread to prove a point to myself about CC.....if a thread is not full of argument, controversy, disagreement, bickering and infighting it rarely goes past a few posts and or a page or two.<----We can all agree on this right? ;)

seems like it at first thought for sure!

but then i remember, in the misc. section the "
verse association game" thread, the "what verse is on your mind right now" thread, and here in the Bible disc. section, there's Zinzero's "encouraging scripture" thread (though it's currently buried pages-deep by arguments, and mostly only a couple of users participating LOL!) and the "Bible verse by verse" thread ... also in the music thread there's the "what Christian music blesses your heart?" thread.. there are more in the singles & misc section too, even over an hundred pages of "favorite Christian heavy metal" - there even when people disagree, they somehow do it in love, showing a 'better' band or song instead of spending their time tearing down previous posts.

when we just concentrate on the scriptures, and on worshiping and being thankful, we do have unity in Christ, without contention! wherever we are praising & thanking God, not puffing ourselves up with knowledge & pride, we are one in the Spirit!

so we agree on this, right?

that God is worthy of thanksgiving and praise and worship and honor!!

I guess we have to rephrase the meaning of this thread to what we as christians (like croonote did) should agree, and not everyone in the chatroom would agree on.

Because everything I have seen posted, I have prety much seen people disagree, even with the point you just made.

Amen and technically God has the first word and the last word :)

In beginning God said......and I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end!

Ok....We all argue our beliefs based upon what we perceive to be absolute truth based upon what we have studied, been taught, believe etc. Let this thread be short precise statements that we all can agree on like the following statements....If your not to high and mighty and are needing a break from the norm then add one that we can all agree on....or maybe let the thread die and go the way of the dodo. NOTE--THIS THREAD IS FOR BIBLE BELIEVING PEOPLE AND GEARED TOWARD THE BIBLE

Please keep it along these lines of thought...

God created the heavens and the Earth<---We can all agree on this right?
Mary was the mother of Jesus<----We can all agree on this right?
Jesus died to pay for humanities sins<----We can all agree on this right?

So...what line of thought do you have that we can all agree on?
somehow I missed that,,lol! I must be getting old and senile!

Jesus Christ is faithful. And even if some doubt Him and are faithless, He cannot deny Who He is; He remains faithful.
