You don't need freewill to make rational decisions; reason is sufficient to do that.
So, even if freewill did exist, its only use would be to make irrational decisions. Why would you want to do that?

if you are letting so-called "free will" make your decisions for you then you might as well be letting a random number generator make the decisions for you

your ego thinks it's the center of the universe
you are not your ego.
You are not the center of the universe

This is a Bible discussion forum, not a place to post a humanistic psychology blog.

Well seeing how he will never answer a question with a straight answer. It's just a billboard for him to post silly stuff :)

I will exercise my free will and give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he is being facetious.

I will use my free will to obey and follow my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because I love Him to lead me to eternal life, and not obey the sins that want to control me and lead me to spiritual death.

I will exercise my freewill and not take part in any more of these shenanigans.

i love to see the pride of life brought low :)

Surely he scorneth the scorners:
but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

(Proverbs 3:34)

For everything in the world -- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life
-- comes not from the Father but from the world.
(1 John 2:16)

If we don't have free will then why do we sin? Is it in God's plan for us that we sin? Arguing against free will really gives you no ground to stand on.
