Why believe that if it takes 2 or 3 witnesses to establish a thing? It is the only one TAUGHT because it can be misleading. Most people have no clue what the law is. So let's read a couple more verses for a better understanding.

Galatians 2

17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

In other words how can we who look to be found in Christ be sinners? If we build upon what we know is destroyed (the sinner) then we are transgressors.

Romans 14

22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

In other words, you believe TV is evil. Have it to yourself or don't go around trying to convince people that it is. Whatever you allow are not, be faithful in happy in it!

I know TV is all entertainment used to control the people, but I love watching family guy! I allow it in faith and don't have to convince or be convinced by anyone else.
I am not the Creator of my own law.

Yahweh governs the universe and He says what goes, I fully and gladly submit to Him, as He knows what is best for me.

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against Yahweh, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of Yahweh, and think to change times and Laws..."

Many use verse 4 to say the instructions of our Creator is no more..caput..ended. What say you about this verse?
1 Peter 1:9

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Using your logic concerning Romans 10:4, this verse (1 Peter 1:9) would mean our faith has also expired! The truth is..neither has expired, rather, another way of saying "the end of" would be the fullness of, not that it's done away with.
Well I just quoted the verse and let it speak for itself ...not sure what you believe the other verse has to do with the law? But yes its absolute and clear that the believer justified in Christ is not under the law of Moses.

I can name plenty of "laws" that we follow that we create. All things are lawful to you, though not expedient.

You have every right to not watch TV for whatever reason. I too have the right to watch TV for whatever reason.

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Right to fulfill...either He fulfilled it all or none of it ...right? So do you keep every jot and title or just parts of the law of Moses?

So on a personal level I dont view these things as abstract. There is one standard, there is not different standards for different people.

Romans 2:12, "For as many as have sinned without the Law, will also perish without the Law, and as many as have sinned in the Law, will be judged by the Law."

Mattithyah 16:27, “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His Malakim; and then He will reward every man according to his works.”

2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, that each one may receive his reward according to what he has done in the body, whether righteous or evil.”

Colossians 3:24-25, “Knowing that from Yahweh you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve Yahshua the Messiah. But he who does wrong will receive the reward for the wrong he has done, and there is no respect of persons.”

1 Kepha (Peter) 1:17-18, “And if you call on the Father, Who without respect of persons judges according to each man’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in reverence. Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, from your idolatrous way of life handed down to you by tradition from your fathers.”

Revelation 22:12, “And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be.”

This is true, Yahweh gave the Law through Moshes and gave mercy through Yahshua.

Did your savior set you free from the Father just like Adam and Eve were set free in the garden? (remember, the snake said, nope you dont have to listen to him...)

but Jesus Christ says:

Mattithyah 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

Yahchanan (John) 5:28-30, “Do not be astonished at this-for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice, and will come forth. Those who have practiced righteousness will be resurrected in order to live; and those who have practiced wickedness will be resurrected in order to be damned."
Yes the righteousness of faith...like Abraham :)

Lets break this down

Mattithyah 5:17, "Do not even think that I have come to destroy the Law or the prophets; I have not come to destroy them, but to fulfill them."

First off twice in this one verse Yahshua says He “did not come to destroy the Law or the Prophets.”

He said He came to “fulfill them.”

Lets let scripture interpret scripture –

Yahshua knew satan would beguile many into a false interpretation of these words of His, this is why HE said IN THE NEXT SENTENCE:

Mattithyah 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Has "heaven and earth passed away?".......A quick look out the window shows us no heaven and earth did not pass away.

Have "all things been perfected?".........Still sin and death in the world, so no all things have not been perfected.

So there are 2 things that Messiah says will happen before ANYTHING is taken from Yahweh's Law...NEITHER has happened.

Acts 3:18, “But those things which Yahweh foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that the Messiah must suffer, He has fulfilled this.”

Mattithyah 1:21-23, “And she will give birth to a Son and you will call His Name YAHSHUA; (Yahweh is Salvation); for Yahweh will save His people from their sins. Now all this was done to fulfill what Yahweh had spoken through the prophet (Isayah 7:14), saying: Behold a virgin will conceive, and bear a Son, and will bring forth the sign IMMANUYAH-which means that Yahweh Of Hosts Is With Us.

Matt 2:15, “And remained there until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what Yahweh had spoken by the prophet (Hosheyah 11:1) saying: from Egypt I have called My Son.”

Matt 2:17, “Then what was spoken by Yeremayh (Jeremiah 31:15) the prophet was fulfilled; a voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were no more.”

Matt 2:23, “And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophets (Zecharyah 3:8 & 6:12); He will be called a Nazarene.”

Matt 4:14-16, “To fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isayah (9:1-2), saying; the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond Yardan, in Galilee of the Gentiles; the people who walked in darkness have seen a great Light; they who dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them the Light has shined.”

Matt 8:17, “This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isayah (53:5), saying: He was bruised for our iniquities, and by His stripes we are healed.”

Matt 12:17-20, “That it would be fulfilled what was spoken through Isayah (42:1-3) the prophet, saying: Behold! My Servant Whom I have chosen! My Elect One in Whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He will not cry, nor lift up His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; until He brings forth judgment in truth.”

Matt 13:14-15, “And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isayah (6:9-10), which says: you will hear without ceasing, but you will not understand. You will see without ceasing, but you will not perceive . Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes, or they will see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and healed.”

Matt 13:35, “ That it might be fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet (Psalm 78:2) saying: I will open My mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings-which have been kept secret since the foundation of the world.”

Matt 21:4-5, “All this was done to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet (Zecharyah 9:9), saying: rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout for joy, O daughter of Yerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you. He is just and lowly, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

Matt 26:53-56, “Do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, Who at once would give Me more than twelve legions of malakim? But then, how would the Scriptures be fulfilled, which say that all this must be so? At that same time, Yahshua said to the multitudes; have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you teaching in the sacred precincts, and you did not arrest Me. But all this has been done, so that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples abandoned Him, and fled.”

Matt 27:9-10, “Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Zecharyah (11:12-13) the prophet, saying: so they weighed for My price thirty pieces of silver, that considerable price that I was valued by them whom they of the children of Israyl had agreed to pay, and used them for the Potter’s Field, as Yahweh had appointed Me.”

Matt 27:35, “They nailed Him to a stake, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet (Psalm 22:18): they divide My garments among them, and for My tallit they cast lots.”

Mark 14:49, 15:28, Luke 1:20, 4:21, 21:22, 21:32, 24:44, Yach (Jn) 12:38-41), 13:18, 15:25, 17:12, 18:9, 18:32, 19:24, 19:24, 19:36
All these are amazing prophecies that our Messiah fulfilled.

Mattithyah 5:17, "Do not even think that I have come to destroy the Law or the prophets; I have not come to destroy them, but to fulfill them." – First off twice in this one verse Yahshua says He “did not come to destroy the Law or the Prophets.” He said He came to “fulfill them.”

But has Messiah fulfilled all the Law and Prophets?

Are all the Feast days fulfilled? Are all the endtime prophecies fulfilled? Has Messiah fulfilled the prophecy of His return?

..it's about what words mean, how the translators translated. Both verses contain the words "the end of" and one is speaking about the law, the other about one's faith. If the former is saying law has ended, then the latter would mean faith has ended. My point was that you interpret one one way, and the other another.

Yes the righteousness of faith...like Abraham :)
Abraham had faith and works;

James 2:21 King James Bible
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

That is why 5 verses later he said;

James 2:26 King James Bible
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Words of Messiah;

Yahchanan (John) 5:28-30, “Do not be astonished at this-for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice, and will come forth. Shaul clearly understands what the Messiah means and explains it here:

Romans 13:9-10, "For the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bring false testimony, You shall not covet, and all other commandments are summed up in these Laws; namely: You must love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."

That's true, but have any one here seen the Father? So the only way we can show our love for Him is in How we treat others in whom we CAN see.

We cannot bless an invisible God and curse a man made in God's image. This is being double minded.

All this debating over faith/works is pointless.

In hebrew faith and obedience are one in the same.

Period.

If you believed you would do.

Period.

People are so far disconnected from the Branch...

Heb 4:2, "For this message was preached to us, as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not benefit them, because they did not share in the faith of those who obeyed. "

Heb 3:16-19, "For some, when they had heard, rebelled. But not all rebelled who came out of Egypt through Mosheh. But with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He vow that they would not enter into His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."

Only in the west do we put a difference between faith and obedience....

Contend for the faith once delivered to the saints....

Romans 10:4, "For Christ is the end (telos) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the ultimate result (telos) of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

1Peter 1:9, "Receiving the end (telos) of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."

1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9, "Receiving the ultimate result (telos) of your faith--the salvation of your souls."

If the its the end of the Law aka Law is done away in Romans 10:4 then faith must also be done away in 1 Kepha (Peter) 1:9. Unless of course telos means the goal.

Greek Dictionary (Lexicon-Concordance) - #5056 telos {tel'-os} from a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal)

HELPS Word-studies - 5056 télos (a neuter noun) – properly, consummation (the end-goal, purpose), such as closure with all its results.

James 5:11, "Behold, we call them blessed that endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end (telos) of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful."

Yaaqob (James) 5:11, "Behold, we regard as blessed those who endure. You have heard of the patience of Iyyob, and have seen the ultimate result (telos) of Yahweh: that Yahweh is very compassionate and merciful."

It goes back to what understanding what sin really is? It is simply not being true to yourself!

HELPS Word-studies - 5056 télos (a neuter noun) – properly, consummation (the end-goal, purpose), such as closure with all its results.
Thank you. Would like to add, Messiah/Jesus is the lawgiver/instruction giver. We read that, by Him everything was created, He is the Word become flesh. He became a man to show us how to live out the Torah, He is the living Torah. The instructions are to be in our hearts and on our minds..the Word is very clear on this, it is the renewed covenant. Moses Law..where did Moses get it? From the Creator!

James 5:11, "Behold, we call them blessed that endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end (telos) of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful."

I don't read Peter that way at all and don't see how one has any bearing on the other, other than they use the same word to signify the end of something? Sorry I just don't see a real point on the issue I raised.

Right Jesus Fulfilled all the law..every jot and title or none of it ...
