Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

1. So breaking the verse down God said let US make man in our image . Who is us? Who was he talking to and if he said us somebody helped him make man?

2. The verse never says let us create man. But said let's make one in our image .. As if there was man already there, but God and whomever he was talking to decided to make one in there image?

Plz share your thoughts and opinions o_O

All things were created by HIM and for HIM<----Jesus

Jesus is the creator and Jesus will judge all things.....The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the SON.

Jesus is speaking in Genesis and is speaking to the Godhead.

Man was made according the image that Jesus would take when he as GOD was pressed out in the flesh.

The words, make, create and made as applied unto Adam and EVE all indicate to cut, form and fashion......

If you really want to have your mind blown.....

My buddy Gary had a rare form of cancer that killed him and to genetically test it they did the following...

Knocked him out
Cut open his side
Took a part of his rib
Sowed up the flesh
Woke him up
Genetically tested the rib to find out what type of cancer

Adam was...
Put into a deep sleep
Had his side opened up
Took a rib
Closed up the flesh
Woke Him up
God MADE EVE from Adam's rib.......

Now that is a trip.............!

This does not take away from the ability of God and power of God to create and give life......!

Mixing Judaism and Christianity o_O

Only part that blows my mind is your friend going to a doctor and you not healing him of his cancer... o_O

So Jesus was talking to himself? Or are they separate? Or is there many Gods?

Deuteronomy 6:4, "Hear, O Israyl, Yahweh is our Father. Yahweh is One."

Isayah 45:18, "For this is what Yahweh, Who created the heavens, Who is the Father, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited, says: I am Yahweh, and there is no other source of power!"

Ephersians 4:5-6, "One Father, one faith, one baptism; Yahweh is One and Father of all, Who is above all, and through all, and in you all."

KJV
5One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

NASB
5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

When God made man in his image, he was talking about the first created man, who we know was Adam. Then as you know, God took rib from man to make Woman, So in respect to your question, he made man, its was Adam and eve by request of God to multiply hence more men and women. So yes God made man, to start of the process of multitudes of men and women.

You got to remember God created man, and we now in our time are a distant creation from Adam. When God said lets make man in our image, who was he speaking to? well he was speaking to Jesus when God was in this creation mode. It says in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God, who does the bible refer to as the word? Jesus. so think about it. Jesus was there in the making of man and all the creations on earth.

You are most correct, sir. I believe that it was Jesus who created the universe. He likes to build stuff.

The Messiah was the perfect example of the "image" IMO.

1 Kepha 1:13-21, "Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the undeserved pardon that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Yahshua Messiah. As obedient children, do not conform to the former lusts you had when you lived in ignorance; But as He Who called you is holy, so you also become holy in all your conduct; Because it is written Be holy, for I am holy. And if you call on the Father, Who, without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in reverence; Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, from your idolatrous way of life handed down to you by tradition from your forefathers; But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you; Who through Him we do believe in Yahweh, Who raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in Yahweh."

Sooo fellas.if you say Adam started the whole population of the earth.. When cain killed Abel. Who is kain talking about when he says other people? Or whom ever finds him will kill him..

It was only adam, eve, Cain and Abel. But Cain killed Abel so now its only 3 of them. So who is Cain afraid of? Nobody else was driven out of the land

*Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me

Please read between the lines. Cain was afraid of his relatives. Where did these relatives come from? Adam and Eve! They gave birth to Cain, Abel and Seth (when Adam was 130 years old) and likely they had many, many more children during their long, long lives. Naturally there would have been many girls as well. Relatives would've married relatives as the Mosaic Law hadn't come into place and there was no other way to populate creation. Also, the DNA mutations that make us sick (in various ways) and eventually kill us were very mild, maybe even non-existent at the time. The brothers and sisters and aunties and uncles etc. would've left their parents and got married and started their own communities away from them. By the time Cain killed Abel, there would've been plenty of others that would be furious that one of their great patriarchs had killed another of their family and committed the first murder. Remember Abel would've probably have been the grandfather, the dad, the uncle etc. of some of these people. Cain was in serious danger and God had mercy on him.

This is a great article that looks at some of your questions and provides answers:
