I wanted to make a thread to cherish and dwell on the words of our Savior, a favorite verse, passage, parable, how that verse makes you feel, anything concerning Yahshua (Jesus) and what He said or taught.

John (Yahchanan) 14:6, "Yahshua (Jesus) proclaimed to him: I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father, except through Me."

Deuteronomy 18:18-19, "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it"

"listen" is word #8085 שָׁמַע shama` {shaw-mah'}

Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively to tell, etc.)

Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar) - 1) to hear, listen to, obey

John 4:25-26, "The woman said to Him; I know that the Messiah comes, and when He comes, He will tell us all things. Yahshua (Jesus) said to her: I am He speaking to you."

Yahchanan (John) 14:23, "Yahshua answered, and said to him: If a man loves Me, he will keep My teachings and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."

Matt 23:23, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithes on mint, anise, and cumin, but have neglected the more important matters of the Law-judgment, mercy, and faith. Tithing you ought to have done, without leaving the other undone."

Matt 7:12, "So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them, for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets."

Matt 28:20, “Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Matt 6:19,24, "Do not store up treasures for yourselves upon earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal; For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.No one can be the slave of two owners. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot be a servant to both Yah and riches."

John 5:24, "Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."

Matt 24:36-47, "But no man knows that day nor hour. No, not even the malakim (angels) in heaven, but My Father only. But just as the days of Noah were, so will also be the coming of the Son of Man; For just as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying while giving in marriage, until the day that Noah went into the ark, And did not know until the flood came and swept them all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two will be in the field; one will be taken, and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and the other left. Therefore watch! For you do not know what hour your Ruler will come, But know that if the householder had known the exact watch in the night the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore, you must also be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you are not expecting Him. ("The Faithful and Wise Servant") Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his ruler has put in charge of his house, to give to the others the food and supplies at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his ruler, when he comes, will find him doing. Truly I say to you: He will appoint him ruler over all his possessions."

Matt 13:1-35, "That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea. And great crowds gathered about him, so that he got into a boat and sat down. And the whole crowd stood on the beach. And he told them many things in parables, saying: “A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears,a let him hear.”Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:“‘“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.” For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. “Hear then the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy,yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.” He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’” He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.” He told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:e “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

Mattithyah 13:1-35, "The same day Yahshua went out of the house, and sat beside the sea. But such great multitudes gathered together around Him, that He got into a boat and sat in it, while the whole multitude stood on the shore. Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: Behold, a sower went out to sow. And as He sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside; and the fowls came and completely devoured them. Some fell upon stony places, where they did not have much earth; and at once they sprang up because there was no depth to the soil; But when the sun rose up they were scorched, and because they had no root, they withered away. Some fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked them. But other seeds fell into rich ground, and brought forth fruit--some a hundredfold, some sixty fold, some thirty fold. Who has ears to hear, let him hear! Then the disciples came to Him, and asked; Why do You speak to them in parables? He answered, and said to them: Because it has been given to you to know the great secrets of the Kingdom of Yahweh, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, more will be given to him, and he will have abundantly; but whoever has not, even what he has will be taken away. That is why I speak to them in parables; because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isayah, which says: 1You will hear without ceasing, but you will not understand. You will see without ceasing, but you will not perceive. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; or they will see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and be healed. But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. For truly I say to you: Many prophets and righteous men have desired to see what you see, and have not seen; and to hear what you hear, and have not heard. Therefore, hear the parable of the sower! When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, but does not understand, then comes the wicked one, and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. As for what was sown in stony places, the same is he who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root in himself, he endures only for a while; for when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he is offended. Now that which was sown among the thorns is he who hears the word but the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches chokes the word; and he becomes unfruitful. But that which was sown in the rich ground is he who hears the word;and understands; he also bears fruit, and brings forth--some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He presented another parable to them, saying: The Kingdom of Yahweh may be compared to a man who sowed worthy seed in his field, But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, then went her way. So when the plants grew up, the wheat formed ears of grain and the tares were discovered. Then the servants of the householder went to him, and said; Ruler, did you not sow worthy seed in your field? Where then did the tares come from? He said to them; An enemy has done this. The servants said to him; Do you want us to go and pull them up? But he said; No, or you might root up the wheat while you are pulling out the tares. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers: First gather together the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn. He presented another parable to them, saying: The Kingdom of Yahweh is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is indeed the least of all seeds, when it is grown it is the greatest among herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches. He spoke another parable to them: The Kingdom of Yahweh is like leaven, which a woman took and mixed within three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened. All these things Yahshua spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, That it might be fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet, saying: I will open My mouth in a parable. I will utter hidden sayings--which have been kept secret since the foundation of the world."

Mark 13:22-23, "For false messiahs and false prophets will rise, and will produce signs and wonders to lead astray, if it were possible, even the elect. So be on your guard! Behold I have warned you of all things beforehand!"

Matt 11:27-30, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father. And no one fully knows the Son except the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father, except the Son and those whom Yahweh wills the Son to reveal. Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"

Luke 16:16-17, "The Law and the Prophets were until Yahchanan(John), since that time the Kingdom of Yahweh is preached, and every man is pressed to enter it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

Luke 16:16-17, "The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail."

He told a man and a woman to "Go and sin no more"

Strange thing is, this generation says and teaches that it is not possible to do what Jesus instructed them to do. i would think it is very possible to do if Jesus just asked a man and a woman to do it.
The Bible also calls those who can't cease from sinning = Cursed Children

Strong verse!

John 5:14, "Afterward, Yahshua found him in the sacred precincts and said to him: Behold, you are healed. Sin no more, or a worse thing will come upon you."

A very personal teaching, IMO. This means so much to me, He has healed me, mentally, physically, and most importantly Spiritually, I want Him to guide me to do His will!

Matt 19:26, "Yahshua (Jesus) looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with Yahweh all things are possible.""

John 7:16-17 "Yahshua answered, them, and said: My doctrine is not Mine, but His Who sent Me. If any man will do His will, he will know about this teaching--whether it comes from Yahweh, or whether I am speaking of My own authority."

John (Yahchanan) 15:5-14, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, produces much fruit; but without Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away like a branch, and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and letting My words; abide in you, you will ask what you will, and it will be done for you. In this is My Father glorified: when you produce much fruit; and in this way you become My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you; continue in My love. If you keep My Commands, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's Commands, and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be complete. This is My Command: Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: that one would lay down his life on behalf of his brothers.You are My brothers, if you do whatever I command you."

John 15:5-14, "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you."

Mattithyah 14:10-14, "Beware that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you: In heaven their malakim always see the face of My Father Who is in heaven. The Son of Man has come to save that which was lost; So what do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, but one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine to go search the mountains for the one that has gone astray? And if it should be that he finds it, truly I say to you that he rejoices more over that one, than over the ninety-nine which never strayed. In the same way, it is not the will of your Father Who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish."

Matt 14:10-14, "Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. 11For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. 12How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish."

Thanks brother, very encouraging:)
This really spoke to me, encouraged me to find out for myself what His yoke was. It led me to find out the truths contained in His miracles, how He made a distinction between His instructions, and the instructions of the religious leaders. It's led me to many more truths..and love of the truth must be accepted in order to see or hear. Isn't love of the truth offered to all? Yet we make a choice to accept the love of truth, and what you love you can never get enough of. Praise YaH! Father in Heaven spoke aloud.."hear Him.." yet..how many do? How do we recieve the love of the truth? Ask for it, then pursue it. Obey it. Many say it's not possible to obey His instructions, but that's how the world thinks. It's not hard. If you believe Messiah, He said it's not hard and I believe Him. All things are possible with Messiah in you. His instructions are simple and easy, but perhaps some will never know because they will never try.

I think Yah put it on me to make this thread, you know with all the distractions of the world, day by day, it's easy to forget what the Messiah said, and I don't say this outwardly, but for my own self, I wanted to review HIS words. A lot of what you said, you know, get back to what He says, truthfully, so I can be one with Him and one with the Father, if Yah is willing! Thank you and supreme thanks to the Most High!

Some of Yahshua's (Jesus) words concerning the Spirit;

John (Yahchanan) 6:63, "It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The Words (Instructions) that I speak to you, they are Spirit, and they are life everlasting."

John 6:63, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

[SUP]31 [/SUP]Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.[SUP]

[SUP]33 [/SUP]Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. [SUP]

In the same way, it is not the will of your Father Who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish

Mattithyah 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahchanan, saw the holy city, Yahweh Shammah, coming down from Yahweh out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of Yahweh is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and Yahweh Himself will be with them, and be their Father.

Ezekiyl 48:35, "The distance around the city will be eighteen thousand measures; and the name of the city from that day will be: YAHWEH SHAMMAH (Yahweh Is There)."

Revelation 21:4-8 And Yahweh will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor will there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away. And He Who sat upon the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me: Write, for these words are true and faithful.And He said to me: It is done! I am Aleph and Tau, the Beginning and the End. I will give to him who thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely. He who overcomes will inherit all things; and I will be his Father, and he will be My son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and worshipers of false gods, and all liars, will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone--which is the second death."

Revelation 21:9-27, "And there came to me one of the seven malakim who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying: Come, I will show you the brides, the Lamb's wives. And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Yahweh Shammah, descending out of heaven from Yahweh, Having the glory of Yahweh. And her light was similar to a most precious stone, just like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a great and high wall, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve malakim, and names written upon them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israyl: On the east, three gates; on the north, three gates; on the south, three gates, and on the west, three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he who talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and its gates, and its wall. And the city lies four square, and the length is as large as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand stadia; about 1,500 miles. The length, and the breadth, and the height of it are equal. And he measured its wall: a hundred and forty-four cubits, according to human measurements, that the malak was using; about 216 feet. And the construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth beryl, The fifth emerald, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth onyx, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, as it were, transparent as glass. And I saw no pagan sanctuary in it; for THE Tabernacle OF YAHWEH, the body of Messiah, was in it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it; for the glory of Yahweh does enlighten it, and its lamp is the Lamb. And the nations of those who are saved will walk in the light of it. And the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it. And the gates of it will not be shut at all by day, for there will be no night there. And they will bring the glory and honor of the nations into it. And there will by no means enter into it anything that defiles, nor works abomination, neither a lie; but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life."

Revelation 3:5, "He who overcomes, the same will be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from The Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His malakim."

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."

Blessed are those who do his commandments:

Mattithyah 22:36-40, "Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the Law? Yahshua said to him: You must love Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Yahchanan (John) 14:15, "If you love Me, keep My commandments."

Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

Mattithyah 7:23, "But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."

I lose focus at times, but we must stay focused on Him.

John 5:24, "Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."

John 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."

Deuteronomy 18:18-19, "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it"

"listen" is word #8085שָׁמַע shama` {shaw-mah'}

Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
A primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively to tell, etc.)

Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar) - 1) to hear, listen to, obey

"Has the world got you down?"

One of Yahshua's (Jesus) parables;

Mattithyah 13:44-52, "Again, the Kingdom of Yahweh is like treasure hidden in a field, which, when a man has found it, he hides it again, and then in his joy goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field. Again, the Kingdom of Yahweh is like a merchant looking for fine pearls; Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Again, the Kingdom of Yahweh is like a net cast into the sea, which gathered of every kind; Which, when it was full, they hauled it to shore, then sat down, and gathered the clean into vessels, but cast the bad away. So will it be at the end of the age; the malakim will come out, and separate the wicked from among the just, And will cast the wicked into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Yahshua asked them: Have you understood all these things? They said to Him; Yes, Teacher. Then He said to them: Therefore, every scribe; learned teacher, instructing about the Kingdom of Yahweh is like a householder who brings out of his treasury things new and old."

Matthew 13:44-52, "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. 45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. 47Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 48Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. 49So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 51Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. 52Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
