Once a person is sealed by the Holy Spirit, can this seal be broken ?

Ephesians 1:13

Your answer is in the following verse. Verse 14
Start with chapter 1, and read it straight through. It takes less than an hour, and by chapter 4 you will have no excuse to question God's Sovereignty any longer. Then finish the book and see how we are to live in the knowledge of such a great calling.

My words will not benefit you. Read it for yourself, and pray for Spirit to guide you in understanding, and that your heart will soften to submit to His teaching.

This says a person is sealed, it says nothing about if that seal can be broken, nor if it is permanent. This verse only teaches that they are sealed.
The bowl of chili in my refrigerator is sealed. This does not mean it remains sealed forever, or that the seal can be removed.

Read the whole chapter then. It makes this clear, and is not comparable to a bowl of chili.

i am sure, the unbelievers in Jesus Day, said the same thing when he would compare wheat to Christians, and compared sheep to Believers. Yeah He used things of His day to teach. But do that today, well it happened to Him, it will happen today too.

Why are persons saying the seal is permanent ? What verse is there for that ?

It is written in several places in the Word of God, that a person can be blotted out of the Book of Life, Which PROVES a person who was once sealed (written in the Book of Life) can be removed. So should i believe those who say and teach once your name is written in the Book of life (SEALED) that they can't possibly be removed from it? OR believe what the Word of God teaches? That a person who was once written in the Book of Life can be blotted out of the Book of Life.
i choose what the Bible teaches, NOT what men teach.

Makes the word "sealed" and "guaranteed" pretty meaningless.
Maybe your understanding of the Book of Life is flawed? (rhetorical question)

We do have a guaranteed inheritance. IF we endure to the end, IF we overcome, If we abide in the light as Jesus did

I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

WHEN does the blood of Jesus cleanseth us from all sin? IF we walk in the light as He did, that is the ONLY time His Blood cleanseth us. By saying IF, it then is CONDITIONAL.

Nothing to debate here. Just read your Bibles, guys. The Word is balanced, and you guys are in a valley of OT shadows. Get on the mountain of the Word of God. Actually read it, and believe it.

13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who[a] is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

God through paul tells us how long this seal will remain.

Anythign other than what is bolded. is twisting the word of God.

if we are sealed UNTIL the day of redemption, then that seal can not be broken.

my understanding is fine. But the problem is your understanding of the word sealed and guaranteed. For some reason you conclude if something is sealed, it can't possibly be unsealed, or if something is guaranteed, that it will most sure happen. You do error in this thinking. Consider this what i say

i right now am sealed with the seal of God, i have eternal life and it is Guaranteed to me. All this is True.
But what you don't understand, it is only true, RIGHT NOW. Just because it is TRUE right now, does not mean it is True tomorrow. Tomorrow satan may test me like he did JOB. will i react as JOB did, or will i turn away from God in a pity party saying "Lord, Why me?" will i turn away from God because, i contracted a horrible, painful disease, where i will suffer much pain for a very long time. will i turn from Him, or still embrace Him? i know what i think now, but you never truly know until it is actually happening to you. my point is RIGHT NOW, i am sealed, i Have eternal life guaranteed to me. This does not mean i, by myself, through my own self, throw it all away, because that is what i choose to do. Are you suggesting Once a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, they can never deny Him in the future?
Here is a True story. i knew this woman who was the Truest Christian i have ever seen in my life. Her house was decorated with Angels and pictures of Jesus, she fasted regularly, read the Bible all the time, Had a Bible study where 15 people would come to her house every week. And any time i seen her out and about, it was ALWAYS on the way to help someone, or volunteer at a shelter, or on a food drive. In all the time i have known her, i never seen her commit even one sin, She loved Jesus so much, she shined with His light. Like i said, i have never met another Christian that was like her. This woman was sealed, this woman was guaranteed, not because of the works that she did, but because how much she loved Jesus and loved others. If her and i would have been hit by an asteroid and died, she would have been Heaven bound for sure. i joined the Air Force and went away, but a couple of years later i seen her on the street, and jokingly asked her "Where are you going, who are you going to help today?" If i remember correctly i think she was on the way to a bar. i talked to her, and i immediately saw there was no light in her, depression, sadness, face drooped, light GONE. i told her i wanted to talk to her, she said whatever. When i came into her place, i was shocked, the walls were bare, pictures GONE, Angels all gone. i asked What Happened. Turns out she no longer believes there is a God. You see her Christian Grandmother, who led her to her Christianity, died a long and painful death. Oh she prayed and prayed for her healing, she fasted and prayed even more, asking God to do this one thing for her, She asked Him to take her life instead, but spare her Grandmother. HE did not spare or answer her prayers. She now believes there can't be a God, NO God would allow such a Godly person like her Grandmother to die in the way that she did. She turned from God, and no longer believes there can be a God.
So you see, just because you are Sealed, or have a guaranteed Salvation, DOES NOT mean you can't throw it all away. DOES NOT.
So if you want to deceive yourself and believe because you are sealed, that you will remain that way Guaranteed, then don't be surprised when you are tested to the max, because you believe that false teaching

i am sealed right now and that is the Truth of God. if i thought for a moment, that i could not throw that away, well then i could live however i wanted too, and still be sealed. Heck i can even stop believing in God and still be sealed according to what you are teaching. But that is not the Truth. i am running to win the prize. According to you, you already have it and can't lose it. If i endure to the end, and i die, or am killed, or am taken up with Christ. That is when i can no longer lose it, that is when i have received the prize. Not before then, NOT before Judgment Day. i have told you the Truth concerning this matter.
You have a choice, be one of the MANY and refuse it, or be one of the FEW and believe it.
Why would you strive for the prize, if you already have it?
