What is wrong with taking a concordance to church? I take a book bag, but as many say here, my phone is getting more apps, and my bag is getting lighter :)
Nothing wrong with this, I'm beginning to shift from my physical bibles and tools to the electronic versions.. and I now have more electronic tools than I do paper versions.
I use Wordsearch 10, and have a very large (spent money) library, what saddens me is all the tablets are Android or iOS based, and wont work with my software, and I don't see paying $1000.00+ for a Microsoft Surface Pro 2 or 3 just to use it, so I patiently wait for WS to catch up with the rest of the world, and hopefully come to the realization of what market share they are missing out on right now by not making a android version (they have a android app, but it is useless, nothing but a viewer, no search, linking to books etc, useless).

My daughter uses her Ipad. I just use a regular old KJV.

Whenever my daughter asks me what a scripture means I tell her lets look at the real bible and see what it says. She uses a NIV so I try to tease her as much as possible...

I have the Bible electronically on several devices and in several translations but I still prefer paper and ink.

I have about 15 Bibles, including French, German, Spanish, Hebrew and Greek. The main Bible I use for study and devotions is my ESV study Bible. But it is huge, and carrying things can be hard if I have hand flares.

So I take my IPad, and on Biblegateway.com, I have access to all those Bibles and more. I usually try to read the main scriptures in all those languages. I really regret that Biblegateway went away from the side by side comparison format.

Our pastor went on a big kick to get everyone to bring their actual Bibles (paper) to church. I don't know if he got a lot of flack, but within a few weeks, he was back to "open your Bibles or turn on your devices." We have some people in their 70's who use a device, again, I think the carrying it church is the issue. I can fit my Ipad in my purse, so only one thing to carry.

the carrying it, and the text size i think too.

there are a number of older people in my congregation using tablets to read during the service too; a couple i've talked to said they find it much easier to read from, with eyes that aren't as sharp as they used to be :)
and yes! these gizmos are getting lighter and smaller all the time, and more and more indistinguishable from phones, that so many of us are carrying in our pockets or purses already.

Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bible, either NASB or NIV. I have all versions of it.
