I'm not against gaming and I'm not against spreading the gospel and making disciples etc. but I really am at a loss when it comes to understanding this game. It all goes right over my head.

I cant open the page with your file to see what is it, keeps displaying errors. Maybe others have the same problem so that is why you are not getting much feedback.

I actually finished reading the game. I understand most of the rules but some were not, we can have better picture for this in an actual gameplay.

This is very good game i think. I used to be a gamer in my younger years, i almost played all the games in the market available. But i'm not into whatever games this time anymore. All I can say is your effort will not be wasted ,brother. Just continue for what you have been started and use it in God's glory. There are a lot of demonic games out there, very violent, even sensual, and sadly some of the christians are participating. Your creativity and your game will be the answer for all the gamers nowadays than paying attention to those ungodly games on the market.

Do not listen to those people who discourage you because not of all us here in cc are spiritually guided. Sometimes, Jealousy is came from the body of Christ(fellow believers) itself. You know what i mean brother.

Use your talent in God's kingdom....ok God bless.

This game may answer some gamers needs and wants but it won't answer all. Also, it's pretty rude to say that we're not spiritually guided or that we're jealous if we don't understand/approve of the game. I would probably celebrate his achievements/ideas with him if it made sense to me, but it doesn't. Maybe the game just has too many rules and not enough cohesion? I don't know. All I know is that I read the first two pages and my brain hurt, so I stopped.

OK first of all I tried to look at it but like my friend SoulWeaver it wouldn't open. Second now that I see all your arrogance at "letting 200 people look at it" I won't ever try and read it. And guess what I have played many games from the original D&D to Forgotten Realms to Dead Lands. So my input might have helped...so much for that now . :) have a nice day

Elf3. I was simply stating the truth. Do you want me to lie? I do not approve of lying and do not want to practice it. Perhaps your definition of arrogance concerning me is confused with confidence and zeal? Either way we are both forgiven, but I wont miss out on playing this game, and someday you may not either. I have been called arrogant before, and it does nothing to edify me or discourage me...so...those were waisted words. They called Jesus things that were not true as well. Even concerning Paul they said his letters were weighty and his speech contemptable. Thanks for the input.

Unity Engine is a good multi purpose engine that has most of the latest technologies available to use. UDK could be another option but it has a steeper learning curve. If you opt to use UDK perhaps I could help build a simple environment for gameplay testing.

Wait... I'm confused (again). I thought this game was to be played out in real life. Sort of like geo-caching but with a Christian ministry and mission focus. Okay, terrible comparison, I know.

Wow, thanks for offering to help. I will not copyright this game. This game is free, and I just want to play it because I hate...I hate the sin in my flesh, and have been thinking about solitude again for even longer than before (but God is with me). I believe this game would help me to get rid of many sins still showing up in my flesh. If anyone wants to change it, build upon it, or whatever....just let me know when its going so I can play whatever version is available. Thank you all my family (but I still hate the sin in the flesh lol).

When I was young and went to church, we played a game called "bible jeopardy" made after the TV show. Seems boring, but actually a good way to get the young to read and want to answer questions on what they were reading.

I honestly don't know. I think it's a video game but played out in real life. That's what reading the first 4 pages led me to believe anyway.

Especially these words:

1. In this real world game, real people are the characters. There are sponsors and travelers.
2. In this game, the game board is a walking path, trail, road, way, or track.

It is a game that includes daily exercise...traveling on a track or something similar. Still working on a better way to explain it.

I am still working on painting a better picture of what this game looks like, but it looks very similar to the way the church looked as described in Acts chapter 1-4. Daily traveling is included, focus on God continually, working with the hands, casting lots, allowing the world to observe up close and personal, equality, no respect of persons, etc.

John 15:18-20
18*“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19*If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20*Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.

my impression is that core gameplay consists of physically hiking, biking, canoeing or otherwise travelling some measurable distance while in communication (via the game) with other players. the gameclock is set to a fixed distance, and the game is an algorithm that takes real-world activities and interactions between players (as described in the rules) and uses them to tabulate a sort of point system (transgressions et al) that determines a position in an ordering of all the players (in line).

is that correct?

It is not a game, people live or die by what we are saying. I meant a man must reach the gospel for one to be saved. This is not a game. Present it to Tyco.

Thank you for the input. I figured i could call it a game because it involves dice and powers and such...but I wont deny it looks much like the first church when played.

I am currently working on finding 12 churches who will all sponsor one player each ( ahich ahould be very easy), it won't be long. Your input has definitely helped me in modifying the way I introduce the game to churches. This game can out do any college in regards to ministerial colleges, hands down, and especially when considering the cost of these colleges.
