are you saying that Christ did not overcome sin and death on the cross?...this is a yes or no question please answer..
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Romans 8:2

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Of course Christ overcame sin on the Cross and the law (the strength of sin) was nailed with His body...but you cant walk in the flesh under law and have the power of the Cross which works by grace.

There you go with the written code of Moses again, as did I say anything about that ? NO !!!

You must understand there is a big difference in the written ordinances of the Mosaic laws, and the moral laws contained within the 10 Commandments that is written in our hearts. You have a hard time separating the moral 10 from the rest of the 613 written Mosaic ordinances. Then you call others unwilling to believe or understand the truth.
I understand just fine the truth, that through love for the Lord we will keep and obey all that He said in the 10 Commandments and the gospel books. Not doing away with none of it, as they still apply in our walk in the Spirit.
You want to say others are not worthy to teach, when you yourself have been caught and called out in misunderstanding of scripture by a multitude of people. In which instead of accepting where you were wrong at, you dodge others showing you by beating around the issue or just posting a handful of same scriptures taken out of context........

There you go again ...claiming the law is "broken" into parts....Is this the law or not?

Ro 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 ¶ What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Any "spirit" telling the believer they are under the law of Moses is a false spirit.

What point do you think your making? Its those who make the Holy Spirit into the accuser that are teaching a lie and subverting the souls of the believers. It don't matter how you define the word...its not biblical nor is it true! You cannot find it in the bible ...in fact what you find is the EXACT opposite...you should repent and believe the truth of Gods Word.

None of us are making the Holy Spirit into the accuser of the brethren, you are. This is your false claim not ours. We say the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin unto repentance and salvation, you say this is making the Holy Spirit the accuser of the brethren, not us. Your simply wrong. We are not saying that, you are. Accusing someone unto condemnation, and trying to convict their hearts that they might repent and be saved never have been the same thing and never will, no matter how many times you may insist that they are.

are you implying that I or anyone is doing such ?...since you keep bringing it up on what basis do you charge a brother of walking in the flesh and being under the law???...are yourself not being carnal?

you are that spirit which is telling believers they are under the law of Moses...you have made yourself a false spirit...

Do you not see the difference between the "world" and believers? I read enough of your post to see that you clearly tried to claim the Holy Spirit convicts a believer of sin...have you now changed your position... Seeing its absolute nonsense, when one actually reads and believes what the bible says in evident words?

LOl that's so funny! hehe Never had that charge made against me before.... So im telling believers they are under the law of Moses? You sure you want to stick with that position? :p

The law is broken into parts as most of it does not apply to us under the new covenant of walking in the Spirit.
Do we need to sacrifice animals ? NO, Jesus became our sacrifice so the sacrificial part done away.

Do we need to follow the curses ? NO, Jesus took the punishment for us so the curses of the law are done away.

Do we have the cleansing and food ordinances ? NO, the Lord did away with all of that in His sayings from the gospel books to Acts when He told Peter to stand and eat for He has cleansed them.

Do the moral laws of God still stand ? YES, as we are still told all throughout the NT that we are to follow and obey all that the Lord our God said, including the 10 Commandments. This and to still abstain from all sins............

To not see this is blind unlearned fault to false teaching, as I have not seen one person tell I came on here and only seen three of you that say the morals laws within the 10 Commandments don't apply. Nowhere in the new covenant does it say all 613 Mosaic laws still apply, but it does give us from the Apostles themselves what parts do still apply.

I would like to set you free from your bondage to sin...and that you might know the life that is in the Spirit of God and the joy and peace it brings....I would like to see the heart of stone removed, hardened by hypocrisy and see you learn the true law of God is to love as Christ has loved you.

So when Jesus said not one jot or tittle would pass away until ALL was fulfilled...did He make a mistake? has "part' of it passed away? And clearly Paul was speaking of the Ten commandments here...so please explain your biblical authority for "breaking" the law into parts? Do you really think that upholds and honors the law?

Ro 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Has only this commandment passed away?

Words from Peter, James, Paul, Barnabas, Judas, Silas, and the rest of the Apostles;

Acts 15:20
But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

Acts 15:29
That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Romans 13:9
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

1Ti 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

They can never explain how parts of the law has passed away and other parts have not...NO! NO! NO! the law is one complete whole just a The Lord and Paul clearly taught!

Acts 15 says in plain words that the believers was not to be put under the law of Moses...that's the whole point! Can you read the bible?

Ac 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

now you are calling me an unsaved hypocrite with a stony heart...well I guess you collected all that information from my posts because you don't know me...what can I say maybe I need to take a hard look at myself....if you can see all that from where you are...I must really be in a bad state...anywho thanks for the heads up....

No He didn't make a mistake, but the part you do not understand is that all the Mosaic laws are still held to this day by the Jews accept the sacrificial and priestly laws. The Jews however say they will restart them when the temple is rebuilt.
Just because He said not one jot or tittle will pass away tell all is fulfilled, does not mean the gentile believers are held to keep the entire mosaic laws as the Jews. The Apostles discussed this, and came up with what we were to obey in Acts 15.

Yes so they came together and decided what parts we were to keep, and the rest does not apply to Gentile believers.....

This is deffinately one of the ten commandments. I don't make such a division between the 10 and the rest, for they only interperate the ten into every day life plus the sacrifices, which are a shadow of Christ

Yes so they came together and decided what parts we were to keep, and the rest does not apply to Gentile believers.....
What? so you agree then that a believer is only responsible for what they mentioned? Do you really think that upholds the standard of the law? And again I ask to explain biblically, how parts of the law passed away and other parts did not?

See post #192.............
So what? that has nothing to do with my point....either every jot and tittle passed away or none of it? And that is silly and its clear Paul was teaching the Ten Commandments has passed for the believer....so you wonder why I don't waste time trying to get you to understand the truth of how grace overcomes sin? YOU reject the evident truths of Gods Words!
