O.K., Im not sure if Im quoting correctly, so please if another here has the correct quote, post it.
For He turned my tears into laughter, my mourning into dancing!
I have always loved this scripture, for many times, God Our Father has trully done this!
I just wanted to share one of those moments, so we may remain always mindful, of how God's words to us, should be lived!
I wont speak to what happened, as it was several years ago and it doesnt matter why.
I can only say that in that moment in my life, I was so broken, so destroyed, so injured, that my tears had run out, I could barely lift my head, my heart was so devistated, I could not even pray, I just looked up to God Our Father in Jesus.
It was all I could do, my mind, my heart, my words, my tears were spent, there was nothing left but a small cry from my soul.
As I layed there, a quiet voice said praise Me!
I was too broken to even ask why, so I just obeyed, and began to praise God.
As I did this streangth returned to me, and of course, my mind went right to the question, praise? when all is as it is?
Again, that quiet voice, praise me.
So again, I praised God in Jesus's name, and continued to, as I did this, the sorrow fell away, my heart fill with laughter and joy, and if I could have, I surely would have danced, I settled for doing so in spirit.
I kept praising though, and after a while I was restored, situation had not changed, but it no longer held me.
I looked in Jesus to God Our Father asking, how did you do this?
I was in awe.
The answer was simple...
When you in obedience praised me, you left your flesh behind, and I brought you into my Spirit.
This is where true joy, laughter, life and love is, in me!
WoW!!!
In Jesus, God Our Father had trully turned my sorrow into joy, my tears into laughter, my mourning into dancing!
Now when ever I begin to feel beaten, defeated or cry, I look to Jesus, and in Him to God Our Father, for trully in Jesus, are we born into His Spirit, His victory, His love!
Please share how God turned your sorrow into dancing, so through us all, others will be encouraged!
In Jesus, God bless
