I sort of stole the idea so there may be some legal issues later but.... welcome to blains cafe we only serve quality discussions here as we are fresh out of coffee and tasty food.

my first conversation is about handling a situation out of love. We are Christians and we claim to be love however every now and then we slip up and emotions tend to run wild and we say things we later regret. did this happen to you today? were in a debate and lost your cool for a minute? or were you stuck in traffic and maybe go to frustrated and said or thought things you know were not nice? maybe you are at work and there is a person who really gets to ya and you maybe were not as nice as you could be.

Now what can you do to avoid this? I advise you first take a biiiiig breath and slowly breath out this isnt just a yoga thing it really does relax you. next maybe start a conversation with god to distract you from your problem or turn on the tunes listen to some christian music also maybe read some scriptures.

i hope this has helped you even just a little maybe next time we will have coffee:]

I felt sorry for our Manny brother who tried the Christianity Café of his own on his first post and got blasted by all our lovely brethren.....anyway make mine a decaf and lets sit a spell and rest a while and try to learn to love the newbies that come to the site. Poor Manny probably won't post another thing after the whipping he was dealt.....and we preach love one another??

Oh hey Jerry hows the battle against tobaco going any progress?
Sadly, no. I am still at 2 smokes a day. This is really crazy as that is not a whole lot of nicotine in the first place. I still get cravings though-out the day for more. I must reach a point where I just give up those two smokes and suffer for however long it takes for the cravings to greatly diminish to where smoking is no longer on my mind. I must be a coward in this regards as the thought of not smoking for the rest of my life scares me.

You are right it should make us feel like crying because we should not treat anyone harshly even if they treat us badly because that is the Christian way. Turn the other cheek, love the Lord with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. That is what we are taught, sadly not displayed very often....Yes, it should make us all feel like crying....You have soft heart go look up the other café thread and welcome MannyO in a more pleasant way as I tried to. His post was not presented well but I caught what he was trying to get across.....God bless your tender heart.

You don't understand Lady Blue by your encourage words HE takes it as O.K. to continue to smoke 2 per day.....that is why HE is smiling right now as HE thinks HE has gotten permission to carry on....lol I am not being that Blond I just know how his smoking mind thinks.....I love him and I want to stop nagging him....

So request out from the Blond to all who are in the Café to please agree with me in PRAYER to ask God to help Jerry give up cigarettes forever and let go of the crutch of 2 smokes a day.....Thanks to all who respond to this request....Blessings and love sent your way from the Blond....much gratitude....

This cafe got any Bread?

I want some Bread! :)

Matt 26:26, "Now as they were eating, Yahshua took bread, and after blessing, broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body."

well, dang.. **assumes intimidating ninja attitude* Tourist, you better quit smoking NOW or else I'm gonna kick some Florida tourist butt and believe me I can do it..lol.. I'm able to resume my ninja duties again so watch it buddy..lol :)

Lord, give Jerry the will and strength to quit smoking..make the cigarettes bitter in his mouth..give him a distaste for them..and remind him how many pollutants he's filling YOUR body with..in Jesus name, amen.
