[h=3]ETERNALLY SECURED IN HIM[/h]
'And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.' - John 6 vs 39

Dearly Beloved, I believe the Lord will greatly expel fear from your heart where necessary as a result of the words you are about to read, and you will gain the victory over the Battles of your mind. God Bless You.

There are many Children of God all over the world today who are currently depressed by the devil, by the reason of the words and the thoughts he inspired in their hearts, hence, these beloved walk on with doubts and serious fears in the hearts as to whether they still fully belong to God or not.

Beloved, the battles of the mind are the most terrible battles children of God face, those times when the devil throw darts into our minds which brings words into our spirit which are contrary to the word of God concerning us. The temptation of Jesus in the wilderness when He fasted 40 days and 40 nights was the self same Battle of the Mind. And you know what? Jesus victory over them was tied to His understanding of the Word and Himself. - Selah

Now our opening scripture tells us something beautiful, Jesus said that the will (Instruction/Commandment) that the Father has given Him is to keep all the souls that He has given Him and that He should not loose any of them. Waow. This is awesome. This goes to show that even till now, the Lord Jesus still has an assignment which He is still fulfilling today, everyday. Hallelujah! And that assignment is that all of us which are in Him should not be lost. O this puts some joy in my heart and some smile on my face. Beloved, no matter what the devil says to you, no matter the accusations, discouragements he brings to your heart as regarding your son-ship in Christ, know this that it's a duty to the Lord to see that you are not lost. Stand on this Faith and rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice!

'And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.' - John 10 vs 28 {KJV}

Ooooo, did you see that? neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. This is the Lord talking, who will you believe my dear friend? What will you believe? What the devil says to you or what the Lord said? - Selah. If the Lord said neither shall any man pluck them out of His hand, then that's just it; no one not even the devil can take you away from the Kingdom of God. Verse 29 makes it more explicit and clear.
'My Father, which gave them me is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.'

That's awesome. Glory to God.

'For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.' - Romans 8 vs 38 - 39 {KING JAMES VERSION}

You see what it says? nor principalities, nor powers, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. So that fully shows us that even Satan the devil is not even able to separate us from God's love for us.

Listen beloved, that fear that you've lost your salvation is actually not from you, but from the devil; it's an arrow he has fired into your mind, into your thinking, into your reasoning, for the sole purpose of damping your Faith in Jesus so he can have you, and you have been listening to the devil by continuously carrying that fear with you all because you didn't know that right from the first day you came into Christ, you were eternally secured in the LORD's hands, you didn't know that the Lord still has an assignment on you which is strictly to see that you're never gonna get lost from His hands. Ooooo, but now you know, and you can get back to the devil now and say to him, 'Satan, you are not greater than God, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, therefore I am in His hands as the scripture has said, and you cannot pluck me out of His hands, hence, I will not be afraid of your cunning words to me any more because now I know that they are of no effect to me. Now I have no reason to fear.' Boiiiii, talk like this, this is a spank to the face of the devil. Having understood what I have just shared, your life will never remain the same again, it will always be a parade of joy peace and victory for you. - Selah

I am sharing this with you because this is what I was called to do, to bring speak deliverance to God's children by the teaching of the Word with depths, just as Jesus has said in John 8 vs 32, 'And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free' {KJV}. You see? We've been set free from the devil and from the world at salvation, but there is a freedom we receive from God's word against the darts and cunning deception of Satan. That freedom don't come at salvation, it comes from the understanding of the word, the understanding of what we are and who we are in Christ Jesus. You see? So this freedom comes by knowing (+Understanding) the Truth (The Word) just as the Lord said it, and that Truth we've understood will set us at peace in that same area of our lives in which we were tried of the devil. - Selah

You see why you need knowledge and understanding of the scriptures? Beloved, you need to fully understand yourself in Christ Jesus, who you are and what you are in HIM, so that when Satan tells you lies and rubbish, you can without fears stand your ground and attain the victory at once, lest you find yourself drowning in doubts, fears and torments (In your mind).

'And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.' - John 10 vs 28 {KJV}

You are eternally secured in HIM, you have no need to fear, you are in Christ Jesus, and He said you shall never perish! Hence, rejoice in that Word, hold on to it, you can hold the Lord by His words, and He won't deny them for He is the LORD. - Selah. If the devil says to you that you are gonna perish, having seen these scriptures, you should not be afraid, instead reply Satan back with the Word even these scriptures which I have shown you now, just as Jesus also replied the devil when he was tempting Him also in the wilderness. That's it, it's simply a battle of words, and the one with the overcoming word wins the battle. If therefore you have no word to throw back at him when he strikes with words of fear and terror, how then shall you escape his darts and the effects? - Selah

Study, search the scriptures, in them ye shall find life.

God Bless You.

Good words Pastor Jenning!!!

If the enemy can get us thinking wrong thoughts he will have won., We need to know the thoughts of God and we find that in His Word. No wonder He continually instructs us to know, read, and hear the Word of God continually. Faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing over and over again.,. Not just having heard but hearing now and to keep on hearing. Meditate means to hear it and mutter it even. Knowing the truth sets us free indeed., from doubts and fears. amen!

Having our hearts established by grace.... Hebrews 13:9 We cannot save ourselves nor can we keep ourselves. Amen. Looking to Jesus the One Who began our faith and will go with us to grow our faith and He is the Finisher of our faith. We are covered!! Amen.

Our salvation is only secure IN HIM for He alone is our salvation (see 1st Cor. 1:30). However, those who claim to possess saving faith yet wander away from HIM do not know Him (see 1 John 3: 6) because those who truly know Him do not continue on in sin (see 1 John 3:9).

Eternal security is indeed a reality. However, Unconditional Eternal Security is not biblical. We are by grace, through faith, in Christ alone. Remove faith as the sole condition of our salvation all are saved (see Romans 5)for Christ died for the forgiveness of all sin.

Some would argue that we are saved by grace alone. Others would argue that we are saved by faith alone. The truth, according to John 3:16, is that both faith and grace originate from the love of God for man.

To put it into perspective: we are saved by the love of God and by that love alone. Both faith and grace are simply two attributes of His love for mankind: grace manifesting toward man while faith manifests in man. They are synonymous, neither preceding the other.

knowing that He has bought me and paid for me in full is not any kind of excuse to go on living in sin, but reason to make every effort to turn away from it for unspeakable gratitude, the sake of His name and the honor of His purchase :)

Surely God and His grace is the first mover...not our faith...

Titus 2:11-14
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

That is debatable. John 3:16 indicates thate faith comes before grace:

"
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son [LOVE], that whoever believes in him [FAITH] shall not perish but have eternal life [GRACE]. "

This passage clearly indicates that Love precedes both. It seems some mistake grace, a manifestation of God's love, for God's love itself. Faith is also a manifestation of God's love in man toward God.

Amen! This is one thing that opponents of OSAS believes about us--that just because we are eternally saved that we continue on in sin unabated.

ETERNALLY SECURED IN HIM

'And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.' - John 6 vs 39

instead of telling people you don't know... that they are secure in Christ...you should first tell them what it means to be IN Christ...
as long as you remain IN Christ you are secure...1 John 1:6
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: (no liar gets eternal life)

Christ does not lose anyone...people depart...
Hebrews 3[SUP]12 [/SUP]Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

[SUP]13 [/SUP]But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Salvation is a gift from God and not of ourselves.

But you don't think faith is, as well?

You think in order to earn God's Salvation you must try to have enough faith?

I really don't think you are reading that verse correctly...

It has caused me to wonder; Do you think that verse being written and us reading it is a gift as well? I do...

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Do you find it a strange concept that the righteousness of God is something we submit to and not something we earn?

Do you think the righteousness of God is seperated from the salvation of God? Do you think the blessing of God is seperated from any thing that is needful for His Salvation?

Do you think I am spelling seperated correctly? It doesn't look right...

Grandpa, if you read all of my posts in their entirety, you would have read where I stated that both grace and faith are manifestations of the love of God, both originating from God: one toward man, the other in man.

I believe that answers all of your questions.
:D

I do have one request though. When asking questions for me, please phrase them in such a way that it does not appear as though you are placing words in my my mouth. Your assumptions make it sound as if I have said something that I have not.

Thank you ahead of time for your cooperation. :)

You skipped 'gave', ..giving to us what we don't deserve is definitely grace on God's part...thus coming before 'faith'.

You are getting ahead of yourself. In terms of man's salvation, which is the topic of this discussion, mankind could not be partakers of God's grace until after Christ's death, burial, & ressurection. Motivated by love, Jesus humbled Himself, became a man, and sacrificed His humanity so that you and I may become partakers of the ultimate gift of grace, the indwelling Holy Spirit. Even the disciples could not recieve this gift until after they had witnessed Christ's death, burial, & ressurection for themselves resulting in unshakable faith (see John, chapter 20).

If you prefer to replace God's love with grace, be my guest. However, I must warn you. Making an idol out grace can be a dangerous thing, resulting in very questionable doctrine. Both Antinomianism & Universalism are rooted in this deadly error.

In Eph 2:8, the "through faith", is not man's faith, but the faithfulness of Christ's obedience to go to the cross. Gal 2:16,Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith "OF" Jesus Christ. Jesus's faith, not mans.

I completely agree that faith is not a work of man. If you had read all of my posts, you would know that.

In what way do you see "faith" as being a "condition" in the sinner to attain, maintain and keep his salvation? How can you be sure that you meet the "condition" to end up saved?
