Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
I pulled a cylinder head off of a little Isuzu pickup today. It had blown a head gasket and I'll have to have my machine shop work it over and then reinstall it. 4 hours of mostly bending over and working fairly steady with bouts of real effort sprinkled in here and there.
Doesn't sound like a big deal, but my docs have said I could forget going back to work. That is the longest and most difficult job I have been able to do in going on 3 years.
I am now much more optimistic about reopening my shop.

I thank the Good Lord daily for His indescribable mercy and long suffering to me. Just wanted to shout out a testimony to Him. My back and knees aren't too bad and I know He will give me progress as He tells us He takes care of us. Thank you dear God, for your blessings on me.

Praise God that you are feeling better. I know God is able to guide and lead us. He also can restore us.

I am in a lull with my body. I've been a lot better and a lot worse. But like you Phil, I am trusting God no matter what!

"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise." James 5:13

If you say to this little Izuzu pick up, head gasket, be unblown, and do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say is going to happen, it will be granted you. :D

If it was a Ford or a (HOLDEN) HAHAH I might have enough faith to believe that HAHAHAHHA HAD to say HOLDEN to cover my dear friend in the land down under HAHAHHA!

It's not my Isuzu.

I'm tellin' ya, this is the first Isuzu I pulled the head on it is built stupid. I was shop foreman for a Toyota dealer for several years, and they are no easier to work on. But then again, being lazy as I am, I just don't like heavy line work. :)
I know one thing, when I get it put back together it's going to be for sale.

Great testimony. Most doctors are good, but Jesus is the Great Physician.
