In our lives time and time again God speaks to us in many ways, but sometimes we don't feel as if it is in the right timing, we may get confused or there may seem to be some sort of complications.

I know in the bible that it says that there is a plan for every single believer for God to fulfill in the individual's life, but the question is: Does God give us the opportunity to make our own decisions if we are not experiencing a divine revelation to a question we ask him in our prayer life?

For me specifically, I have been praying about something for the past couple of years and I am not experiencing the any sort of feedback physically, it just turns to a character flaw within me, (more spiritual) that needs to be improved.

Anyone have any advice or stories to share about this happening in their own life?
Feel free to share :)

The answers are not always physical, as you already know.
Especially when we are looking for a sign, God will give an answer in an unexpected way.

God speaks to us most consistently through His Word. Daily Bible reading has answered more of my prayers than I can count.
The second thing to realize is that prayer is for more for us to align our will to God's will,
far more than it is for God to bend His Will to appease our prayer.
God does answer prayer, and does care to our needs,
but not always in the way we expect.

I'm not sure what kind of prayer you are praying. Perhaps you could share a bit more?
Our action is based on His leading.
Unless He has called you to stay in place, we have to keep moving forward,
and EXPECT Him to guide us. That is living in hope and expectation.
