Rock Music...
Symptom Of a deeper problem?
Root cause of the problems of the church?
Neither?

What we see in this video is a counter movement of Satan to distract the "traditional" Church goers from the good growth that is actually happening in this generation.
They show "example" congregations that reject clear doctrine and incorporate mysticism.... Those groups, and the publicity of them, are Satan's tools to misdirect judgement upon the good changes that are taking place.

"Moderization" does not equal compromise of doctrine.

Yoga and labyrinths are not part of "modernization", but are a part of eclecticism... which is exactly what Justin Martyr and Augustine used when they began misleading the Church.
The Platonic/Stoic "Church" father's sins, now handed down to their children. Tradition-oriented unbelievers. They just want to claim the traditions for their own, due to pride.

Not all modern music is "rock".
Actually, I haven't heard a song that sounded like the Beatles in Church since we stopped singing Rez Band, Phil Keaggy, Keith Green and Tommy Walker songs.

But following the church-held definition of "rock music", I would have to go with answer C: neither.

If you define "rock" as music written under the influence of drugs or alcohol that includes a "back-beat",
then I would go with answer A.

Oddly enough, most modern music has eliminated "back-beat" in favor of cross-beat and/or 16/32 syncopation (sliding snare). R&B/Gospel styles still use it... but they haven't changed much since their invention.
Backbeat music (which is the only musically valid definition of "rock") sounds as old as most hymns to my generation... and hymn styles often preferable.
Play a 1800s hymn, and all the kids know and like it. Play it in syncopated "hyper-beat" at a very slow tempo, and they love it.
Try the "Praise God from whom all blessing flow" in the "Old 100th" tune, playing every note as a quarter note (holding last note of every 2nd bar as 5 beats), at half tempo. No instruments needed. It "rocks" regardless,
because it praises the Rock of our salvation.

Rock Music (Satan's music) in the church assemblies in America and all over the world is proof of the apostasy and falling away which has already taken place in these last days.

It is a symptom of carnality within the modern day church assemblies. And yes it is also a cause for much of the fornication which is going on in a lot of the modern church buildings.

Yes, I listened to rock music for years but now I do not, if I can really help it.Whether Satanism is behind modern music or not(which, I,think it is,you want to hear some of these songs played backwards) 99% of the lyrics are glorifying sin.The entertainment industry is a very powerful weapon in Satan's arsenal.
I was listening to a chat programme on radio last week and they gave the origin of the term ''rock and roll.In the fifties teenage couples would park up in the car and fornicate ,sometimes causing the car to'' rock'' when done they would drive off ''roll'', hence rock and roll.

Incidentally home improvement certainly does begin with a King James bible,an authorized one.
